Iromar - the scent had been unquestionable, its sent following the flow of the wind into the centrality of Glorall. After all, he had spent some year of his life in the bogs of such a place and it would have been very... odd for him to not recognise the scent that he had so long associated with his mother's failure. Still, Ishtar had held the pack for some two years now, much longer than his mother could have ever dreamed of. Whatever animosity he might have felt in the past, he had attempted to extinguish since Glorall had become his home.
Still, the arrival of such a scent on the borders of Glorall had been an oddity; it was not his mother, that was for certain. Whoever it was, they had fast piked his interest, rousing him from his rest at the mouth of his den. He had been watching Judas, Praetor and Vesper in an attempt to better understand the newest additions to their family, all while his other three daughters remained busy with their ambitions. It had been his sons that most intrigued him for he knew he would some day need an heir, and perhaps he was less inclined to choose a daughter solely out of fear of them becoming injured, or in fear of males bothering them for their power. It would need to be ignored for the day it seemed, for no sooner than he had risen did her call summon him to the borders.
He moved as a flash, his legs eating up the earth beneath him, his curiosity driving him forward. It had not been the call of Ishtar, a howl he would recognise with complete certainty and for that, he was most interested - had she sent somebody, or perhaps Iromar had fallen once more? He was eager to see and such eagerness was quickly satisfied; they were hard to miss, after all. She was vaguely familiar, the russet of her pelt giving her away as one of Ishtar's own whereas the male to her side did not appear as such - he was tall, a slender creature with fur that seemed endlessly dark. An oddity in himself, and certainly one that brought a tilt to Tesseract's skull as he came to stand before them - the males demeanor, too, was one that he had not met. He seemed apathetic, almost bored with the whole idea and perhaps, one some level, Tesseract could relate. He'd been enjoying his day with his children, after all, but business was business and it would need to be tended to at some point, so why not now?
"Iromar, yes? I'd be hard pressed to forget such a scent."
One side of his muzzle lifted up in a small smile as he met Lux's gaze, his own sweeping over her features in a brief attempt to decode her inner workings. It was only when he moved to meet the eyes of Dimitri did he notice the other; a pale child sat by them, and yet there remained something uncanny about the boy, his features holding the same refinement as not only Tesseract's but Ruvindra's. For a moment, his eyes lingered on the child, narrowing slightly as his ear flickered forward. It was to him that he directed his question, ensuring the boy would be required to answer - he had caught Tesseract's curiosity, and it was debatable as to whether or not that was an innately good or bad thing. Children of Ruvindra had a peculiar tendency for... disappearing, no?
"Who do I owe the pleasure?"
Perhaps Caligula would be roused, too, which would certainly make the encounter all the more interesting.
