Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

You are not in need of a home, I am sure that you will thrive here. Those were what the words of the fallen King had been before his demise. The words had been comforting, a promise of a full life, and a home. Zorion had believed him like the naïve pup that he was, and had then believed that the faes around him were angels present to protect him and nurture him and raise him. But then they had left him as well. Thoughts began to form in his mind, confusing thoughts. Though he was sure that the femme who had saved his life by fetching him from the tumultuous thrashing of the cascades had been angel, made apparent by her sudden disappearance from his sight, was it possible that other femmes were not inherently graced? In fact, had they been lying to him all along? Axel’s words… had they been farces that had been spun by the queen at his side?

As such terrible thoughts confused the poor laddie, he had met the one who would change his life and inform his as to certain truths. Harries, a kalak who he had met at the border, had promised to share with Zorion all of his knowledge and the truths about femmes. But more than that Harries had promised to never leave him, and that was more important to the pup than anything. And so, wrongly, the naïve bruteling had placed his full trust in the brute.

That was what brought him outside of Cold Summers boundaries now, heading toward the eerie mountain that he had been barely able to see from his pack. Its peak, even now, and always, was shrouded in a heavy blanket of mist and gloom, and as his untrained form traveled up the steep slope, he wondered whether the peak would lay him close to where heaven surely laid. Tiny chest begins to heave with the effort of the exercise, but the pup does not slow or waver from his course. Too focused is he upon his task and the promises that lay at the top, no matter whether they are true or farce.

Harries had declared that he would not lead him to their preordained meeting place; rather, the adult had said that he trusted that the pup would be wise enough to get there on his own. Such a show of faith meant more to the pup than the adult would ever no, so he had lost no time in finding. It had taken him a long while – Zorion had not been out of Cold Summers for a long while, and had never explored Blossom Forest as it was. It was only once his surroundings had opened up, exposing the sky, that he had been able to make a beeline toward the mountain, running all the way just in case Harries had changed his mind. He didn’t want to lose this chance at having yet another mentor.

Maw opened, heaving heavily, Zorion pulled his exhausted form over one of the ledges and grinned widely as he saw that the adult was waiting for him just outside of a cave. He was still, formed perfectly and resting in a seated position. Perfect! His voice rang out just as the pup arrived and like the gullible fool that he was, believed that he had meant the word for Zorion’s arrival. Trying to slow his breathing to impress the brute, he approached slowly, lowering his lips to diminish the grin to a mere smile. Stopping so that he was opposing the brute, he leaned back into a surprisingly graceful bow. “Hello, Harries, I have made it here just as you requested. I did it all by myself!” In truth the pup was proud of himself. Perhaps he could finally make something of himself.

Now for his first lesson. The brute had informed the pup that faes were not what they seemed, but rather that they could be quite evil and therefore had to be contained and overpowered before they could cause ruin. The reason that the pair were meeting on this particular peak? Harries had apparently seen a fae frequently it, and he would show the pup one way to do it successfully… Winking at his new mentor, Zorion walked into the cavern behind him, hiding his form in the darkness. Hidden from view, he waited and watched.

OOC - gah I just haven't played him in a while... I will fall back into his role after this starts to unroll :)
