The smoky brute thought that his pack had died with its alpha, Tamlin. There had been almost no one around the territory since their alpha had passed, barely anyone at the borders and it seemed that no one stayed. The brute was lonely in the pack. He had no one here he could call a friend, no one in Blossom he could call a friend. Though he had been in Bright Moon for a while now, it still didn’t feel like home. He had no one to talk to and how could this place be home without a friend? It seemed as if he would die along with the pack, just like all the other wolves in Bright Moon that seemed to have disappeared. He had assumed that Ambrosia would take over, but it seemed that even she had disappeared, going off to fight for the pack, but the fight not finishing before she disappeared as well. As Summer wandered aimlessly around the pack, giving up on anything happening here again. The brute was surprised when he heard a call, a call from a leader, within the pack. It was a new voice that called, vocals Summer didn’t recognize, but he turned to their direction none the less, picking up the pace as he did so.
When Summer arrived at the lupine that had given the call he saw a dark-colored brute sitting around other lupines that must have answered the call. When the smoky brute came into view he nodded respectfully at the new male, but not speaking yet, nut sure what to say to the new alpha. The brute recognizes a white female, sitting silently, the only lupine there that had the scent of Bright Moon on her pelt. He remembered her name to be Misty, having met her once before when they greeted another lupine at the border many moons ago, before the pack seemed to fade away. He trotted over to his packmate, sitting down next to her. ”Hello Misty.” He spoke quietly to the only lupine he knew, wanting to ask her if she anything of this new leader, but decided to do so later, in private. The other two lupines were strangers to Summer, just like the wolf that had called everyone there, the one he assumed to be the new alpha. Another femme was sitting in the group, a white and russet colored ess that had the fresh wounds of a recent battle. Summer wondered what it was that brought here her while she was already injured and he could only assume that she needed the help of a pack to recover from her injuries. Another brute was sitting beside the dark new alpha. This brute was the opposite in color though, a white pelt sitting closely next to the black one. It seemed as if the two strange brutes new each other and Summer wondered if they planned on ruling Bright Moon together. Only time would tell him what was to become of is pack with these new lupines.
