Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

if you go out in the woods tonight...

He has been shy, for almost a year the creature has hidden within the shadows, and stalked along the beach. That granite form moving within the tide lines of the shore, watching as the waves crash into the sand, and the white frothy foam stays behind. He wonders what makes the water do this, and makes a mental note to ask his ever gentle natured mother why it does this. She would know, she is the only wolf he will come to with questions like this, the others are wolves meant to be wary of. Skittish and easily frightened, Grendal shrinks away from others, but this day is different. He has seen new faces around Glorall, and he plans to investigate. Curious as ever, the young monster begins his daily rounds of shadow stalking. The boy watches as a family of deer plays on the beach, sitting down to study how they moved, knowing he would eventually be big enough to take one down. Next a seal catches his eye, and his head tilts as he notices the fat rolling with each buck the animal makes as it moves about on the sand. Movements keep catching his jade eyes, smiling when he sees the sea birds, his tail waving around as he studies his environment.

Truly the boy longs for company on this sunny afternoon, he simply doesn't know how to go about getting the company. His shyness keeps him back from outwardly seeking attention, and the fear he holds of others keeps him from reaching out at all. Perhaps, it is in his nature to be alone, but he is a wolf, would anyone care to break the monster from his shell?

...you better go in disguise...
