 Their moments were always sweet and yet short. For not soon after Rhae had given a few gentle licks to her beloveds paw that another was suddenly accompanying them. Bright teal that are usually ever watchful narrow only slightly as she takes in this other. The wolf is a female, only slightly taller than her in height but lighter than herself in weight. She is as white as the blizzard still raging all around them, save for the markings that lace her bright and strange gaze. It is unnerving, the neon hue that almost seems to glow within the shadows of the sheets of white. And before anything happens, Iblis is there, ever her knight and saviour, to stand and put himself between that which is unknown. She cannot help the way the corners of her lips tug up in a warm smile as she watches him, but wastes no time in returning his gaze back upon the stranger. The approach had been silent and while any other time Rhae would have picked up on her scent, thanks to the constant build of snow and the fact they were down wind, she had been invisible. Her weary mindset is distracted when Iblis speaks, asking for the strangers name and if she comes from Iromar. Now that she was close, Rhae could pick up on her scent and did not find the boggy tang that accented an inhabitant of Iromar. All she found was that of the freelands, of nowhere in particular and everywhere all at once. This was a well traveled wolf and she seemed to give off a friendly air but something about her eyes made Rhae weary of her. The determined tone of Iblis' voice has a certain warmth blossoming within her creme and cinnamon painted chest. It was a common thing, this sudden burst of affection and adoration that she felt toward the smaller male before her. As her imprint, her other half he held a peace in her being that she had not known before. And this meant that she would do anything it took to protect him, to keep him breathing and safe and happy. Even if it meant confronting others, just as she had done in Iromar with the dark wolves Lillith and Andras. He had placed himself before her- but she knew with his paw hurt that he could only do so much. But for now, all was relaxed between them and this white stranger, though Rhae's ocean like gaze hardly left her fourm. She was not inclined to offer her name to this stranger as she might have done another time- if she wanted it, she could simply ask for it. Just as if she wanted to know her name, Rhae would ask for it. But currently her mind was focused on the goal of getting Iblis back to the den and off his paws, and for she herself to go back out in search of a meal for their little family. She was quite capable and knew she could keep herself safe in the conditions they were currently in. And perhaps even Fate would be kind and the storm would pass, but one could never know what it had in store for them. Or perhaps some could. The tall wolf had a mind that of which focused on the present- the here and now. Which currently involved her injured Iblis and the odd phantom of a wolf before them, whose bright neon pink irises reflected every flake that swirled about her visage.
