aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

She has made the worst decision imaginable- and yet she cannot help herself. She cannot help the joy, or the fear that rages within her chest, or the adrenaline and anxiety combo spiking her blood pressure and allowing her legs to move swifter than normal. Aurora was some ways away from Munashii, but she made the trip in record time. The silver phantom did her best to skirt most territories, but was determined to get there as soon as she possibly could. Which was why she was now walking languidly toward the last leg of her journey, the scent of the border of the pack just faintly reaching her senses. It wouldn't be too long now, and then- and then what? She would find him? Reunite? What if he wasn't even here. What if he was- and didn't remember her? What if she was but a forgotten memory, tossed away like nothing. It was terrifying, the feeling of.. not knowing, and it had Miya's senses on high alert. Every little sound recieved a twitch of her ears, her bright, molten silver irises glancing about herself, so obviously on edge. This was a bad idea. A bad and stupid idea.

She should have never come, but she would be a coward to turn away now. And so she steels herself, taking in deep and even breaths as she had done many times before. She could do this. She had to do this, and she would have to simply accept it for what it was. She was so distracted in her thoughts that she almost missed the border- almost. But her senses screamed loud and clear at the scent markers, and her silver polished paws came to a stop just before it. For what seemed like a very long, silent moment, Miya simply took in everything around her. It was different than Munashii, but even then not too much. The wolf could see why others lived here, and why Kong himself resided within the land. But was he here because of his friend, the apparent Alpha, or was he here on his own terms? Perhaps it was not either that drew him her, but something else entirely.. shaking her silver splashed skull vigorously, she forced the thought out of mind. She would not go there. Not now. Not here. Not when she had just impulsively sprinted across half of Blossom Forest to find him.

But would he even come? There was only one way for her to find out for sure. And so, without any further hesitation, Miya is gracefully throwing her head back. Her song is one sung for one being, and one being alone. For her knight in shining armor, the one who had saved her when all other lights went out. The call was for him, but it was not for him alone. If he wished to bring company, or another wished to join, so be it. This was their home, after all, and not hers. She was a stranger here, and they might not take kindly to her presence upon the borders. She would simply have to wait and see.
