The two dragons were so busy in their play that they had almost forgotten about their silver guardian who was sat a little distance away from them. Alwen was arguably the less enthusiastic party in the rough-and-tumble game that Osmium had initiated, and her smaller size made it seem as though she was liable to be squished by the mix, but she was nothing if not determined to keep up with her ‘sister’ as best she could. Honestly, it made Storm chuckle to see the Welsh Green try to get the better of the more boisterous metal mix, especially given how timid Alwen usually was.

It didn’t take much to distract the young dragons, though, so Kastor’s call made both of them freeze in their spots, and turn their heads to the source, their expressions the very picture of curiosity. It was Osmium who called back, letting out a slightly metallic screech before bouncing off in the direction that the other dragon’s call had come from. Alwen, having always been the more cautious of the two, glanced after the slightly younger drackling, and then back to her surrogate mother, who let out a quiet sigh before getting to her feet and hurrying after the mix, glancing behind her to make sure that her other charge was following. “Os, wait! You can’t just go running off like that!” Storm called, though she knew her words were more than likely to fall on deaf ears.

Osmium, in all her haste to go and make what could potentially be a new friend, hadn't really thought through what she would do when she arrived in front of them. And so, when she came skidding to a halt in front of Toric and Kastor, she found herself backing away from them a little shyly, her pinkish eyes wide with curiosity. She had never seen a dragon that looked like the one before her now, but then again she hadn’t seen a collie before, either… it hadn’t really occurred to her that she might have been staring.

“H-… Hello…” she stammered, in an uncharacteristically shy way, glancing behind her as her two companions appeared, suddenly finding that her confidence was back now that the familiar faces of Storm and Alwen had returned.

Storm let out a light-hearted sigh, shaking her head and chuckling quietly, “What am I going to do with you, Osmium?” she murmured, before turning her attention to Toric and Kastor, and giving the pair a warm smile. “Sorry about her, she has a tendency to charge off in the direction of anything that interests her; takes after her grandmother in that respect…”
