Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Let your nightmares escape your dreams....

“Well, Cora, things have definitely been better in my pack. I belong to a pack named Bright Moon. When I first arrived the alpha was a male named Tamlin. I never met him but he left recently, I really don’t know what happened if he died or what. Now we have a new alpha, Darcia, and I have no idea what he will be like. I’ve met a few of my packmates but really don’t know anyone in the pack. I really haven’t made any friends here, anywhere in Blossom really to be honest. I’ve talked to you more than I have to anyone else.” Cora sighed again. Was she seriously setting him up to face a past he never wanted? The wind was starting to pick up pace, slurring the ess’ fur up against her back.

Cora had heard of Tamlin before. She had not understood his death really, for what and why it happened.
Was it front sickness or from something else she didn’t know, and it truly troubled her much more than it should have. Tamlin was a great alpha, a great hero. Surely he didn’t die miserably? The fae was about to ask what had happened, but then decided it was best not to. There was a rush of cold wind, and the ess held back a shiver.

Suddenly, a huge bolt of lightning spiralled out from the clouds, a huge dark mess brewing up the sky and scattering things around. It started to rain before the sound of the bang stopped echoing past the mountains so far away in the east. Cora jumped herself, cringing at the crash that shattered her mere existence for a short period of time. The vixen unpeeled her claws out from the ground, loosening up some dirt as they tasted the wet warm air again. She looked towards Summer, her stance now lithe and lethal, her hackles raised in a towering defense. The trees seemed a very good idea at the moment, but as the ess moved her cranium, she could see nothing in the slightest sort of trees from any direction. There must be a reason why this tree was the only thing in at least half of a mile.

And with lightning in the area, she had no idea where to turn to next. Summer began to say what the fae was thinking. “”We should find shelter. I don’t know if you know of anywhere nearby but we could at least head into the thicker woods and look for shelter under some more trees.”

The vixen nodded in reply as they started to move in one direction. She felt the protective press of the brute’s flank against hers, and the lash of his tail secure her into him farther. She felt instantly comforted. The titan almost seemed to walk awkwardly as he put his face and shoulders in front of her to barricade her from the pouring rain. Cora blushed, but through the shadows the clouds cast no one could see it, and Cora didn’t care about it anyway. Another crack of thunder erupted into the area, sending a wave of light bounce through the shadows of the field. Looking ahead, the femme almost thought she saw a wolf hunkered down in the grass, watching them with burning red eyes.

She jumped into Summer, a loud burst of energy echoing through her body. “Sorry.” You could barely even hear her words over the pounding of the rain, the ringing in her ears as they kept moving. The trees were actually in sight, but with another crack of thunder, the rain stopped, the wind turning fast than it ever did. The rain storm was turning into more of a lightning storm, and ahead through the light bursting from the electricity did Cora see the thing that would devour them to pieces; the tiny tip of an edge of a tornado touching the ground and spinning rapidly.
