His green-gold eyes did not leave her at her warning growl immediately, Amutaq let his gaze wander only after she glared at him, roaming the crags as he followed her further up the mountain. The night did not allow them to see far away, but he knew if he gazed off in the distance from this height he would be able to see the crater where the meteor had ravaged the lands and destroyed all he once knew. The nearly full black male did not break her silence though as they climbed higher, as much as she claimed she did not like or want company she sure seemed fine with him tagging along as they made their way up higher and only adding to their desolation.
Once they reached the top she seemed to have been thinking of his words all the way up. He chuckled again and shook his head in disbelief as she said it still was a bad thing meant to harm her. ”Well I would show you, but you are seemingly liable of making my perfect ears as damaged and tattered as your own and I am rather fond of them being intact.” He says giving another little shrug. He moved around the flat area looking around and examining the area which she had chosen to pause. If she wanted she could send him for quite the tumble, but she liked him too much he could tell. She wasn’t out to get him so long as he didn’t start anything.
”I do know you well enough though to know that you would not let me cuddle you to see if you like it or not. Thus, you currently do not like it. It is not a matter whether how well I know you, just how well I can use what I know about you to judge what you may or may not do or like or dislike. I have my skills miss and I must say you are a pretty open book.” He knew it would probably make her angry to hear that, she seemed to have a short fuse and all, but really she was a loner who hated everyone for what they had done, never had come across a friendly creature in her life and when one did she liked the company wanted it. Wolves were social creatures by nature and she was denying it. To have someone so readily and kindly offering to speak and follow you well, how could she say no?
”It looks fine to you, a newcomer, but I lived in these lands as a child and they are different. We stand on what used to be a pack land. Ally to my home of Trenus which is long gone. Paracon used to be here, the ravine pack we stand one of many of its old peaks.” He says a little sadly and letting out a sigh. He was home but it wasn’t home. The lands he knew were gone but he could only be greatful that some of his family did remain. Though why one of them had to be Malina he didn’t know, but it was some part that he could take some comfort in. "A meteor hit these lands, changing everything. I was... not here for it. I was lured out of Moladion by my fathers wonderous tales of other lands, I wish I would have been here for them."
