The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
Just an outline made of skin

The grullo was dragged from his memories as he heard a voice, his muscles tensing and ears pressed against his skull. His hind hoof rested completely on the ground as he looked at the stallion in front of him. He was a bark color with white splattered on the top of his body. His coat seemed to have strange patterns; it looked as though it was curling. Snorting and slowly letting his ears come back up, Xanti spoke. "No, no. I am not here to harm your," he hesitated as he tried to figure out how to address this stallion's herd. He had said pack and he was acting like a wolf. The only thing keeping the grullo from being submissive was because the stallion in front of him was half his age. There was no way after years of having a herd and protecting them that Xanti would be equal to this stallion. He had spent his life fighting for them and keeping them away from others, he knew he could handle this. "Your herd." He said, tail flagging slightly and neck pushing up to try and level it with the stallion in front of him.

"I was just exploring my territory, I did not realize you had already claimed this part of the land." A slight pause was left before the stallion continued. "I apologize." The grullo shifted awkwardly, tail swishing not that gently behind him. He wasn't sure whether he should leave or stay, though leaving seemed to be the best option. Still, perhaps he should try and push his luck a little and try to get out better terms with the stallion in front of him. His ear gently pointed forward as he considered his options carefully. Obviously attacking would not be a good idea unless he wanted to become enemies with someone living right next to him and wanted a few marks to proudly show off to everyone who probably wasn't interested. Perhaps it would be interesting to have the enemy right next to him, though, it might become a game of tag where they slowly stole mares from one another until they had the other's entire herd. Eyes dancing to show his laughter, Xanti quickly shoved the thought to the side and decided friendier was better. "Perhaps," he began, "we should become allies." He let the words hang in the air as his ears perked just a bit further forward as he waited for the stallion's response.
