Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.

congrats to our new member of the month, quil, and our new sister of the month, ausus!
going to try and get that ic thing up today as promised. i keep not thinking of anything because i suck.
also would like to award +10 points each to tarquin and echidna for their craycray activity right now.
a quick note to newbies - if you are looking for a new character to play, we have a slightly different system to other sites. players on this game can opt to give up their characters and make them 'playerless'. a character made playerless is fair game for anyone to claim and do what they like with.
to search playerless characters, go to the database and search 'playerless' under the 'player' field. you can edit any information about those characters except what is in the database (including appearance, personality etc). to claim one, post on updates.
you can also search 'audition' characters in the player field. audition characters are characters who have been made playerless, but have some kind of power which means the admins want him/her to go to someone trustworthy. to play an audition character, express your interest to an admin.
finally, players who don't want to give you free reign with their used characters may post said characters up on the chat board now and then. instead of waiting for this to happen, you can always post on the chat board asking if anyone has any inactive characters you could play.
