Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Rogue knew the time had come, the time to attempt to socialize with the members of this pack. She had lived here since Tesseract’s take over and it was time for her to begin getting to know the few members who lived here. If she was going to aspire to be his Diomedes, his best thief and hunter of Glorall she should probably know more about all the members that were here so she could work with them during pack hunts or protect them from other lands thieves. Not that they had much to worry about. They had a pact with Ishtar, though Andras ruled now Rogue figured he would not be breaking former bonds so fast, then they were on good terms with Spirane and Rogue gathered that Taviora just didn’t want to start trouble with anyone. Diveen too had a pact with them. They were safe from others for now, but perhaps someone would be trying to take from them simply because they were small and low in numbers, less likely to protect each other.

She pondered this, knowing that she must soon go to Tesseract to discuss some of these matters with him. Perhaps she herself could go to Iromar to insure peace between them? After all surely it had to have some benefit being the sister of the Alpha and all. She would think about that later though. She spotted the mostly white fem in the distance walking around looking like she too were wishing for a bit of company this day. Well Rogue would oblige to speak with her fellow pack mate and hope she wasn’t someone she would fine less than tasteful to speak with.

”Greetings.” Her deep toned voice rang out towards the wolfess friendly as it could get considering her blood line. Her scarred muzzle was set into a neutral set, no smile or frown upon it, her poisonous green eyes looking over the fem. She was older, but that by no means made her weak. Rogue had no idea of her glory days, but perhaps the fem wished to share. Rogue found age to be most interesting, though your body became weaker your mind just seemed grow stronger. Well with some. Rogue had respect for the aged simply because that meant they had to make it through several hard knocks to make it to this point in their life.

”I’m Rogue, I thought it would be good to get to know some more of my fellow pack mates. May I ask your name?”
