News - SUMMER
Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.
Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.
We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.
As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

My Soul Has Awakened IP: 24.27.101.126 Posted on January 8, 2014 at 06:20:17 AM by Phaedra
She opens her nebulous violet and gold eyes, still new to this strange world. When she opens her eyes, it is like tasting the first glimpse of sunlight once again. A treasured moment, each and every time for the girl of sunrise, for she knew not all could see the wonders of the world with their eyes. She blinks, her bright eyes focusing on the ground of the den as this strange urge drives her little mouth open. A yawn, they call it. A thing most odd. She does not tell her mouth to open wide, and yet it does all on its own. Phaedra already felt there was much in this life that was out of her control, and her young mind was trying to figure out who exactly was controlling it all. She makes her own paws move, her own words comes from her mouth, and yet there are things like breathing and yawning that happen all on their own. What is it that causes such things? She whines slightly as she moves restlessly in the den, her own mind lacking answers and craving more.
She knew nothing would come from sitting around in the den. Her limbs itched to explore the world, and no one seemed around to stop her. Of course, the perceptions of such a young pup could always be quite off from the reality of things. The gold-touched girl rose from the bed, eyes curious as she moved with great vigor out into the world once more. It was summer. A time most warm, like always being cuddled next to her Mother's belly. She breathes in the fragrant air of Diveen, smelling the delicate scents of many plants in the air. She was still amazed that she could smell something from so far away. It was invisible to the eyes, this smell, and smell made no sound. A force so interesting indeed. She sits for a moment at the mouth, taking in the green trees and plants that surround the city of angels.
So beautiful it all is, and she wished only to see more. Her eyes are hungry for something new to see, outside the area designated by her parents. Mischievously she looks around, feeling secure in this moment as her black limbs cause her to dash away from the den, in no particularly interesting direction. She hoped that she had escaped the eye of Mother and Father, these ever watchful beings that told her what to do, and taught her many things in life. Phaedra wished not to displease them, and yet she did wish to satiate her desire to see the world from her two eyes, unhindered. Maybe one day she would understand why a pup so young should not travel so far from the den, for even she was younger than all the other pups born this year, born latest in spring.
Feeling satisfied as she scurried across mossy rocks, she came upon the sight of a tree near by. There was something odd on it! Phaedra's little puppy body paused, her head tilting far to one side as she took in the strange form. It was plant like, at least she thought, but it wasn't like the other plants. It was not green, nor was it the color of dirt or tree. It was a lighter color, thin and white near the base, and reaching towards the sky with a brown round top. Her tail thumped behind her, and it took no time for her to lope awkwardly forward until she was directly next to the thing in question.
Her first instinct was to sniff, and sniff she did. Her nose wiggles as her face emanated intrigue. Her mouth reaches out then, biting into the mushroom and consuming some of the contents. It didn't taste like much, nor was the smell that appealing. Yet it wasn't unappealing to the senses either. Her eyes rather liked the mushroom before her, though she did not know the name. She swallowed, her tongue lapping at her nose. Her eyes became distracted again, and the young girl dashed off into the foliage near by at the sight of tall grass moving in the wind. She knew not what might be in this grass ahead, thinking something much be there making it move, and yet they have spoken of wind. Wind. Another invisible force, one that Phaedra snapped at with her puppy teeth as she jumped along. Today, was going to be an interesting day indeed. Phaedra already made sure of it.
