Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

She had brought back food to the den, only to find the darker pup had wandered away. An instinct inside of the flame and snow lady forced her to follow the scent, only after consuming her kill to satisfaction. She did not feel the desire to eat anymore, and no longer felt that horrid pain in her belly. Blood and bits of animal remain at the corners of her mouth, but it was no matter to her. Her nose felt the pull to follow the scent of the dark boy. A scent she knew so well, from a creature that tore from her very body. She could not deny the bond she felt with the two wolves that spawned from herself. Yet, as they grow older, Flare became less tolerant of any weakness. The female showed little too no weakness, where as the boy...well, the boy made her feel uncomfortable on more than one occasion.

Her lithe form followed the scent like a huntress. She was determined, hungry not for food but to see her son eat and consume. Part of Flare's mind considered that they might feel the same pain when they need to eat. She was not a creature without empathy or sympathy, she was simply a creature in a wordless world, with only highly dominant males as her guide all these years. She was not the typical Moladion wolf, but she was not all that different either. She longer to be near the dark male, the one who commands and leads. Never before was she more compelled to follow such a strong creature. It ensured her belly was filled after his, as she was raised to believe in the first place. She was only comfortable with a male to follow in her life, and yet the young boy drags her away.

Her nose is excellent, holding onto the scent with ease. Her ears of white prick up, knowing the scent is close, he must stir close enough. The woods are deep, a place where many creatures linger in the shadows and in the foliage. Her red eyes, lined with black, twitch with each sound that sounds like a pup his size, a snarl of irritation leaving her lips when it is never he she finds.

Then the sound of a call distant echos throughout the woods. Her head raises as she stands still, listening to the call...calls, that are rather near by. She tilts her head, hearing her dark boy, but as well as another. With a snort she dashed forward, her protective instinct kicking in as she weaved throughout the woods towards the calls. She arrives only a minute or so after Rhae, her eyes catching the sight of the large female, who had her own small one. Flare was full, filled to the brim with food and had no desire to eat. It was this time when Flare was most docile. Her white paws carry her in a wide circle, her red eyes observing the foreigners with great distrust. She never stopped moving, her paws carrying her around to the back side of her boy. She was a fierce looking female despite her tall and thin frame, her white pelt looking naturally dirty with the streaks of grey, black and fiery russet.

Flare sees his sons posture, an acceptable posture indeed, as she comes from behind and gently nudges him with her nose on the shoulder. She would then proceed to mouth his neck, he mouth and ear. A strange inspection of sorts. He seemed whole and alive. She would give him one lick on the head before her wild red eyes shot in the direction of the two strangers. She stands with her head down by her son, her hackles raising as she looks them over. It was rare for her to encounter other wolves when she was not hunting, and she quite honestly didn't know how to react other than to ensure her son was protected. Her fangs creep out of her lips, a warning not to step any closer, with only the slightest hint of a growl in their direction. They were very close, but Flare knew the female could have eaten him already if she so desired, so maybe, she was not hungry in this moment either...but if she was, she would now have Flare to deal with.
