Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

If there was nobody home I would have to come back another time. Someday. That is what I thought to myself. Not that I didn’t know someone would come after me, but if I had the chance I saw no reason not to take it. It was a chance and I didn’t want to waste it by simply waiting for someone to come and get me. It was possible that they wouldn’t notice me, so I just took my chance. With a smile on my face I ran, chuckling softly with my thoughts. But this time, however it seemed it wouldn’t work as another wolf bolted beside me to pass me and block my path. It was her again. She just stopped me short before leaving the pack. I stopped, not wanting to rage her. She spoke and chuckled at her own phrase.

- Greetings.

I said gently with a little tease to my voice as I spoke. The wounds on my frame have disappeared since the last time we have seen each other. I have some knowledge on healing, may I say. It would be quite clear now for her, I guess.

She got me. The girl told me then where I should go to and added the detail, something that rather made me uncomfortable. I can’t see any reason for her to do that to me. Besides my own tiny jokes about a few things she said, I have done nothing wrong have I? Would that have been enough to make her so mad? Or was she just teasing me? I wasn’t afraid at all, I was only trying to understand. Confused. A she snapped I took a step back slowly. She gestured towards the place and rushed me, by pushing me. I followed, walking towards the beach she pointed at. Once I got there I stopped, looking at the water and wondering what she would do. Didn’t take long for me to find the island a little far off in the middle of the water. She rushed me once more and I moved, walking into the water to soon start swimming in the direction of the island. I’ve reached it first with her following me behind. I got off the water and waited. The cold feeling of water against my fur and skin, I must confess, have felt amazing in such a hot summer day. I looked around as I waited for her.

I didn’t have much to say or even to do. So I chose to wait and see what she wanted bringing me here.
