Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

It was not uncommon for her to come across a crazed wolf that was seeking nothing but death and destruction all around. Being alone made you a little bit more aware of your surroundings. There were times when she was attacked by wolves crazed on the malicious intent to kill everything in sight, the best thing to do during those times was to run away and mask your scent to make yourself untraceable. But if you were in the crossfire it was best to attack with everything you had and make sure you won the fight, because if you lost, well, did you always want to look over your shoulder or have your life end? Since neither one was a very good option it was best just to win the fight or not enter one at all. Yet right now she wasn’t capable of making that decision to run away and live for another day. No. She was stuck here between the pathetic pup that believed she could be an ‘assassin’ and the crazed demonic wolf bearing his teeth ready to snap them into two. Whatever teacher she had clearly wasn’t good enough. Shouldn’t the first lesson be controlling your fear and the second dodging attacks? Yet right now she couldn’t waste time figuring out just what sort of lesson the poor girl should have learned. Both of her ears were pinned back against her ebony head, her thick ebony fur trimmed with silver was bristled as a low snarl crawled out from the pit of her stomach. That raging growl intensified when she heard his thunderous growl match her own. Hackles continued to stand on end as she kept her agile frame between the ebony pup and the ivory brute. Saliva dripped from her exposed ivories as her indigo eyes narrowed coldly at his golden ones. Holding her own she inched forward ignoring the thunderous plea to run. It was too late to run, and he should have warned them earlier- much earlier. As soon as he made his lunge for her she would raise her own frame upwards allowing herself to take his powerful force. Though as he snapped at her she would move her heads to the side allowing her sharp ivories to reach for the side of his neck, trying to get through his thick fur.

Though as she tried she felt his claws rake through her side and she leaned into him forcing her body to keep slammed into his as she felt her back feet losing grip. It didn’t help her at all when she felt the inexperience pup try to put herself in good use as she aimed for the D’Manaco side, but her big paws would bound into her left foot causing her to loose balance. Unlocking herself from the brute she snarled and ran for him at full force as he headed for the passed out pup. Idiot. Her half torn ear heard the girl speak aloud about staying in some sort of ‘Diveen’ place, whatever the hell that was, she would promptly put the girl back there and tell her to never leave until her pathetic excuse of an assassin teacher taught her better. With a low snarl she bounded towards the brute and slammed her entire body full force into his, causing their bodies to lock together once more as she tried knocking him over. Wincing she felt the sharp pain in her side intensify when she moved to the left, turning her head around once she saw his claws had slashed along her ribs, not enough to be a gaping wound, but painful enough to make it hurt when she walked. Quickly she went to the pup nudging her forcefully trying to get the damn thing to wake up while he remained on his side. Eyeing the river she sighed and dug her teeth into the scruff of her neck dragging her to the river nearby, which was rather simple since they were so close to the bank in the first place. Thankfully the pup was light enough to drag easily to the bank that she turned around nudging the girl deeper into the water, allowing her carcass to float before giving a quick wolf at the brute. Growling she leapt into the river and swam after the pup, grabbing a hold of the scruff of her neck as she held onto the pup as they began to float down the river. As they floated around the bend she turned her head for a moment looking for the brute and not seeing him in sight she tugged on the girl, forcing her carcass to follow her as she managed to shove the girl to the edge of the bank. Keeping herself on the bank she locked her hold on the pup dragging her out of the water and into the tall grasses nearby, trying to hide her there. Her ears were stand on end as she raced back up the river bank looking for the ivory wolf, ready to lead him on a chase away from the girl. Keeping her down wind out of his scent range, not to mention using the thick green grass to cover her passed out body, it was the perfect plan, now if only she could keep his attention on her and make him chase her. Catching his form she let out a rough bark her tail swaying side to side, cold eyes glaring down at him.

“The pup is long gone….your best chances are with me.”
