Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Rogue couldn’t help but feel excited for her friend’s arrival. Her tail waved lightly happy to see that she looked fine. She didn’t seem like she has had any trouble from those other ‘assassins’ of hers that were supposed to listen and respect her decisions. Seems they didn’t respect rightfully earned ranks there in Diveen. Not that Rogue was surprised by that. Creatures in Hell at least respected those who were higher until they either killed them or beat them for the position if they didn’t like who sat on that rank. Not just happily sit under and ignore them. Backstabbing creatures. Well whatever, Rogue could do little about it save for kill them but she couldn’t could more than glare at them here in Glorall because of the treaty. She wouldn’t break it but if they started something with her elsewhere and put her in a position where she had to defend herself. Well… Look out cause she wasn’t going to have a break down from Imprint severing next time.

The embrace felt better than anything else she took in Malina’s individual scent, taking a deep breath and giving out a sigh of relief. Her nip was playfully returned grasping at some of the black furs before letting go. She may have been a little rougher than the usual friend or maybe more but she couldn’t help it. When you grew up around a wolf like Andras you learned to play a bit rougher than the average wolf out there. Rogue stepped back as the wolfess spoke giving her one of her rare genuine smiles and a little chuckle. She shook her head slightly still laughing lightly at her words.

”Awful footwork now? I suppose that could explain why I thought a river trout was flailing about in those waters. We will have to work on that hrms? Don’t those angel’s teach you anything properly.” She was joking, sort of about the angels. Their misology about training and doing things though, was mildly ridiculous. It didn’t seem they could finish anything they started, even these different sort of angels here. Her tail flicked lightly a grin still on her maw faultering slightly at her words that she had only missed her face.

”Well if you face was off the rest of your body I am afraid something would have been terribly wrong with you. Generally your face is attached to the rest of you, no? If not I suppose I would be parting some faces from their bodies myself… You know I never tried that. Perhaps I should sometime it sounds rather thrilling.” She was being serious, surely it was clear in her tones. Perhaps those stupid angels that have been giving her white eared friend a hard time would be her test subjects? That sounded pretty inviting all on its own. ”Wear them for masks later maybe?” You could take the demon out of Iromar, but you can’t take the demon out of the demon.

Malina then spoke of that wolfess Ava who put the scars on her maw, it seems they have a bunch of parasites to tend to rather than pestering her Mal. Good, let them suffer with those parasites. Why would you want a swarm of them anyway? That sounded terrible. Why so many? Rogue could hardly stand just having two of the little things running around. Thankfully they were off her back now though. Her face changed though, Rogue recognized it as how she looked at Mal when they had lest met at the Crags after the war. Rogue had wanted to say something then but Mal’s problems were enough as it was at the time seeing she had found her imprint and things were complicated enough at home without knowing an AWOL demon wanted to be romantically involved with you.

Rogue was never sure if she felt the same, but that look in her teal and gold flecked eyes. Rogue was always good at reading faces and though that look was something she was most unfamiliar with, particularly in her direction, she knew that perhaps her feelings were reciprocated.

”I’m sorry if you did, I really am, cause I missed you a damn hell of a lot too. I just wish you would stay here where I can take care of you and treat you as you should be treated by everyone.” She felt it clutch her again, the words sitting on the tip of her tongue but she was still worried. How could Malina, this wonderful being like something so lowly as herself? She had her imprint she could pick any male she wanted, but to pick a female? Her? Rogue guessed she could have as well if she really felt like it but she had picked a long time ago, when it was Malina being the second parent of those little parasites and not that bastard who helped in creating them. She knew how unconventional it was but there was no code, no rule against it. She was not an angel, really, not by blood. Andras maybe even more approving of it simply because Malina couldn’t get her to have more of those little cretins running around. Why then? If she felt she was so perfect could she not say anything?

”But, you know I love you, right?” Her voice dipped down into a harsh whisper, she hoped she would stay no matter what happened from this. Even if Malina did not feel exactly the same Rogue would be happy still keeping her as her dear friend. She knew Malina had her heart caged all to herself. There was no more imprint to share with and if there was. To hell with him, she would feed him to Andras and all his little spawn before picking him over Malina ever.
