Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Judas was a brat, she'd definitely decided that. Oh, she'd watched him strut out of the pack like he owned the place and, well, she had followed - but that didn't make her a brat. See, she'd been born and raised for a year in the free lands and thus, she had automatic permission to go out there whenever she so pleased. It made sense, perfect sense, so she had no qualms with loping out, tail swaying in the air behind her and face alight with a wide, adventurous smile. Today, she would try something new! She was going to spend a night out in the free lands just to test how brave she really was. As the oldest of all the pups, and the first born of her sisters, she had made it her task to be the bravest, the strongest, the fastest, the everything-est, and she was going to make that happen. One might have called it cheating, though, since she had a plan that hardly tested her: she was going to return to her a birth den. She'd visited it a few times, keeping it clear of foxes and clean all the same, and tonight, she'd make use of it.

First thing was first, though, and that was to expand all the pent up energy she had. Even as the sun began to sink behind the mountains, she could feel her muscles burning with energy that drove her to continue bounding through the stony labyrinth of the Crags. Delya had taught her how to navigate the highest of the rocks, balancing atop them and leaping from one to another, and yet Cersei had not quite mastered the ability to make such a movement appear all that effortless. Still, she found it an enjoyable past time, particularly with the added challenge of night fall, where her only guidance was the dull, silver light of the moon. Perhaps she would not need to sleep nor worry over whatever strange beasts lurked about in the night if she simply kept her mind focused on her game. Perhaps it would have worked if there had not been a sudden explosion of sound to her right, the sound of shrubbery and the pounding of feet, the subtle squeak of a rabbit in distress. It startled her, and with that, she fell from her boulder, sliding down its slope and landing with a soft thud. Startled, yes, but now... a little mad that she had been so.

So, like any logical wolf, she followed the sound, quietly stalking after whatever had made so with long, cautious steps. Eventually, she came to the tunnel where she had heard the foot falls, and lowered her nose to the earth - wolf! It had been a wolf? Part of her wanted to bristle up in agitation (how could another wolf startle her!?) and yet, another part wanted to sigh in relief - it hadn't been a damn bear, at least. Still, she was curious as to what had happened and thus, followed the scent further before her ears flickered to the sound of muffled voices. She heard a name, and the sound of another - and scent - of another wolf coming. One word crossed her mind: great.

With a mischievous grin, she wiggled forward until she was but at the cusp of the rocks in which they had gathered - she moved in the shadows, just waiting for the perfect moment. Once she was sure this Sage and this Spirit were distracted enough, she burst through the bushes with a sharp, shrill yip of excitement, hoping to startle them just as much as they had startled her. If she could have kept a straight face, maybe it might have worked better but no, she broke into a girlish giggle half way through her display before settling down, her lips pulled back into a smug smirk. Take that! Nobody startled her without her extracting her revenge!

"Whatcha' doing?"

She chortled, having settled down into a more relaxed position as she stood by the bush she had erupted from. Her eyes looked between the trio, noting what she could: two wolves around her age, a boy and a girl, and the wolf that had definitely been the one to startle her with a rabbit planted between her legs. Really, it was an odd sight now: one lay, eating, the others stood about awkwardly, or rather, they had been at least. If all had gone well, they'd all be a little more... awake now that she had come.
