Today, she had been given a most important job, given to her exclusively by her father. According to him, he had business to once more attend to somewhere outside of Glorall and she was to maintain the borders and, in her eyes, operate as the Queen. Well, he had said operate as a scout but surely that meant Queen, really. It meant she got to parade about the borders and decide who and what got to come in! If that didn't sound like a Queenly task then surely she had no idea what exactly was. Nonetheless, it made her feel important and allowed her to burn off her seemingly endless supply of energy. At two years old, she had noticed herself eating more, running more and generally having to move at a faster pace through life to feel satisfied with her days. It was a contrast to when, but a year ago, she had insisted on sleeping most of the day away and only ate when her mother and father permitted it. Now, she ran wild through Glorall and the surrounding land, digging up rabbit warrens and sneaking away with the gulls' eggs come dawn.
Still, even such activities can only keep her occupied for so long. Even as night fell, she found herself wide awake and moving still through Glorall without any goal in mind. She merely walked for it was the only thing to do; surely all the other children had gone to sleep and once more, her parents were absent from their den. Her task had apparently not finished, though she soon found herself with a stomach rumbling, hunger having once more began to seize her. In the darkness, she knew only one place where she might discover and easy meal, and it was there that she had begun to move, her steps long and silent, ears and eyes ever alert for the slightest movement around her. Sometimes, she can only hope that somebody such as Tristan or Sinclair is nearby and awake. The downfall of being so awake so constantly is that seldom did she have company for each waking hour.
She moved down the dunes, her paws tumbling and kicking up sand as she made her way down, stalling from time to time in an effort to keep the gulls' from rousing. They were silly birds, that much she knew, but they were always so damn good at knowing when she was coming. Ultimately, though, there was little they could do to stop her from getting her way - their beaks could only do so much damage and she hardly missed a few hairs here and there.
There was something else, though, on the beach before her that caught her off guard, forcing her to stall as she watched the silhouette. A wolf and yet, if reflection from the moon would have her believe correctly, it was no wolf of Glorall - it was only confirmed when the female's scent wafted through the wind, Cersei's head tilting in response. Who could it have been? They did not smell of any of the ally packs... a loner? She had a number of loners but never did they so openly walk into a pack. Well, she supposed, she'd have to do something about that! If she didn't get to the stranger first, then someone such as Caligula or Rogue would and, well, she didn't know how well either would take to what they'd call an intruder. As far as Cersei could see, it was just a pup, probably lost, probably told to come here by Judas The-No-Show.
With a decisive nod, she further tumbled down the dune before she broke into a trot over the sand. She trekked along the water's shore, ensuring that the other could see her approach - she moved with grace, her tail waving in a friendly manner as her head tilted from axis to axis. The other girl seemed to watch herself in the water, its stagnancy turning it into a warped mirror; when she looked over the ocean, she saw the moon and stars just as they were in the sky, wobbling and twinkling in the water. Still, she couldn't help but wonder why exactly the girl seemed so interested in it all - it was just a reflection, after all.
"What are you doing?"
She finally called out to the stranger, pausing some five or so feet away with a look of bewilderment. She, too, stared down at the girl's reflection from her position, leaning forward towards the water slightly so that she may see it better. The red of the girl's eyes is that captivated her, their hue something she had not seen before anywhere in Moladion. They were... intriguing, almost enviable and yet, she did not recognise the girl at all. An intruder she might have been, but it did not change the fact that today, Cersei got to the call the shots and, well, she could do with some more acquaintances, right?
"Who are you?"
She queried again, intending on meeting the girl's eyes with her own, her head tilted once more as her tail continued to wave slowly behind her. Maybe, just maybe, they could team up and take down a gull and its eggs if they worked together.
