Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sometimes, she didn't know if he let her win or if she really was just so damn good at playing rough. Whatever the case, she was glad that he had at least eased up and went along with it now - then again, she'd also started to learn boundaries and just how far was too far before she ended up hurting someone. When he finally pushed a paw up against her chest, she relented, nipping playfully at the paw, lips pulled back into a daring grin - a challenge. So, he was getting hungry, huh? Good! She didn't recall ever seeing him take on the gulls before, but then again, most of the puppies had a regular sleep schedule and missed the early morning rush. When they all fled for the sea to feed, Cersei fled to the shore to do so, too. Now, she'd teach Sinclair the secrets to her endless energy and shiny fur (she liked to imagine so, at least.)

"Tasty's an understatement, but you can be the judge of that."

Of course, she wanted to enjoy her moment of victory though, grinning her own teeth in a broad grin as he bared his own. She battered her lashes, giggling quietly to herself before she once more butted his nose with her paw. Let him up? Oh no, that would be far too easy! How did he expect to conquer a gull if he could not even conquer her? Sure, the gull was likely lighter and less of a furry weapon but nonetheless... it seemed like good enough logic to keep him pinned just a little longer.

"You must really hate winning, Sin."

For a brief moment, she pressed her weight back and off him as she stared down at him smugly, her brows cocked and tail swaying. It was more than enough time for him to execute his move, catching her off guard before they rolled. She landed on her side with a soft thud, letting out a muffled oomph before her own puppy growl slipped out from her mouth. She bared her teeth, though her lips remained poised in a smile, as she too moved to nip at him, batting his ears with her paws. When she did so, she paused, watching as the ear bounced and flapped awkwardly - she couldn't help but laugh at it. Then, out of nowhere, she placed her paw over his mouth, hushing him as she looked out of the den's mouth nervously. She feigned fear for a moment, her eyes wide as they scanned the dawn outside.

"Do you hear that?"

She paused, her ears flickering forward as the silence rung out, the birds continuing to chirp their merry tunes. Nothing was out of order and yet, she had to admit that she was doing a damn good job at acting! When she was sure he was concentrating on the sounds, she suddenly licked him on the nose and squirmed free of him, wriggling backwards and out of the den with her tongue lolling.

"It's the sound of me being a mastermind! Think you can keep up?"

She lowered into a play bow, winking down at him with a wicked smile as her gaze slid from him and towards the beach. In the distance, she could already hear the gulls beginning to rouse, their shrieking echoing through the wood lands. Surely she'd worn him out now, even if she wasn't quite finished with him.
