I padded along the trodden path, my white paws barley making a sound. I missed my family a lot. Last I heard, my brother had a mate and pups. "Huh.. He was more lucky than i thought." I mused quietly. When I made it to the river, I saw many pretty feas laying on the rocks. Males traveled around, smiling at them. I lept onto a tall boulder. I glanced at the water, looking at the silver flashes that swam through the clear water.
I swiftly leapt off the boulder and snuck up to the water. Watching one swim by, I plunged my maw into the water. My teeth made contact with the scales of the fish. I swept it out of the water and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. My blue eyes glinted in the sunlight.
I brought the fish up onto the boulder and laid down to eat it. This reminded me of the time my mother showed me and my brother how to fish at the pond where we lived near. I bit into the scaly prey and swallowed it. "Mmm.." I mumured softly. My white coat was skinny from not eating. My father had tried to teach me to hunt deer, but I never got the hang of it. Rocko had. "Oh well. I know how to fish." I had said to him.
I finished it quickly and then laid my head on my paws. Closing my eyes, i sighed. "I haven't slept in a while." I quietly whined. Then, I drifted off into a light sleep. Replies:
