Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She didn't know it was going to be so easy to get him to follow her back to Glorall. Even though she was...irritated that he had pinned her to the ground, it was even more incentive to get him to follow her back. She needs someone like him around. He actually plays with her, actually gets physical with her. Everyone else was too scared to hurt her or simply not the kind to like their tail getting chewed off. But him? He was the kind she wanted to be around. Why were there not more like him around?

She led with a strong confidence as she marched through the grass of the field towards the lands of her home. Glorall was the only place she had known. A place of great beauty and amazement. She still remember the days of her puppyhood, when she was much smaller, when the grass engulfed her whole form. She remembers looking up at the clouds above, how large they were, how mysterious and strange they are. Her blue eyes cast upwards as she walked upon her strong yet delicate grey legs, still looking upon the clouds with a soft fondness not often visible on her beautiful brindled features. She was almost ignoring the boy who agreed to follow her. Quite honestly, she wasn't much of a talker. She had no idea how to simply socialize.

She turned her head a bit as she walked, her eyes diverting from the sky back towards the boy of red and black. If he dare run from her, to not do what he said he would she would not hesitate to chase him down. If anything, she was going to be a fast girl. She has enough muscle to give her the strength to run, but is light enough to give her excellent speed. It is simply something she has yet to really explore, yet to really harness. Her mind was set on brute strength, and she has not embraced what she built to do.

When her eyes meet his, she jerks her head back around, continuing forward with a natural grace in her steps. She doesn't do it on purpose, nor is she aware that she has any grace at all. She always imagined herself being thick and strong, a true brute in nature, and in her mind that was what she was. Her brindled tail flicks behind her as the smells of water begins to touch the air. They were getting close, that is for certain.

"We are almost there," she said plainly, continuing on with eyes stuck forward. There was a river ahead that they had to cross in order to make it into to Glorall. They were on the wrong side of the river, going any further towards the ocean would lead into Diveen, a place Viora had no interest in.

The sound of rushing water begins to fill her ears, and she lopes forward until the running water is in sight. There is a large fallen tree, covered in wet moss and fungi, that allows for easy passage across the river. She looks back towards the male only momentarily, making sure he wasn't scared. She didn't think he would be, but she could be wrong.

"We gotta cross," she mentioned, her head turning back as she stopped her tread next to the fallen tree. Her face was touched with a half smirk-grin, and her body wound up to jump upon it with relative ease. She stood atop of it, flicking her eyes back to him before she begins to cross. The water rushes under them, only feet away if he chooses to follow. She will stop half way, her eyes much too curious as she looks down into the rushing water.

"If you fall it will eat you," she mentioned, blinking a few times before looking back at Magnus. She didn't know his life experiences, where he is from or what he knows. He could be completely ignorant on rivers and their power. It is simply a gesture of kindness to ensure he knows.
