Istas was happy where he was he didn’t want to move from the super thick fur of the black, white and red-toed male. He just wanted to mesh into his fur and stay hidden for a while where no crazy girls could bother him. Not Elesor, not those CRAZY Diveen girls, none of them! He had no idea that Chael was a wolf that was not meant to be a protector. He helped Istas feel better and he liked to be around him and look at him, that was enough for him to trust him right? He trusted the brute with his safety almost more than he did his own father. He felt the male embrace him and his whole body sunk as it caved into the safety, relaxing fully for the first time in days if not weeks.

A large sigh came from the fluffy boy’s maw his body hurt so used to be tense on edge it was strange to be relaxed and at ease. It scared him a little but Chael made him feel so, safe. He made his stomach and heart flutter not in fear but with something else that he couldn’t put his paw on. He didn’t wish to move, he liked listening to the steady sounds of Chael’s breathing and heart beat it was relaxing and calming more than nearly anything else in the damned world that was out to get him. He didn’t know that it was Chael’s fear to be this safety net, but for Istas that was exactly what he was at this moment. A place, a person of safety. He felt so much better his heart beat slowing his fears coming to rest especially as he listened to the soft voice echo from his chest to the air around them.

He told him he was happy he was safe, and strong for surviving what the girls had put him through. Strong? He wasn’t so sure of that, he ran like a bat out of hell when that crazy girl attacked him it was all he could do. There was nothing ‘strong’ about being a coward and running. He did live to tell the tale though. He would get that Diveen girl somehow… She would pay for causing him so much grief. The pure white boy didn’t want to part with the black and white fur of Chael’s chest as he pulled away. His white ears fell back slightly stepping away and not meeting the icy and golden gaze of the older male.

He explained the reasons why the pack’s scent has changed, the reason why Andras was no in charge rather than Ishtar. Still he wondered what it was that called her back though. Was it because she failed as a demon? Well he wouldn’t dare ask anyone that but there was something he was willing to ask the brute who had survived so many years in the world filled with girls.

”Why are girls so violent, Chael… isn’t there away to dulcify them? You know make them not so… psychotic.” The boy asks his ears still pressed against his head his eerie white eyes setting on Chael for a moment before drifting away. He wanted to do something about it, he wasn’t sure if Chael understood that the girl actually wanted him dead, he had complained about girls trying to kill him before but this time it was for real! Well it didn’t matter he would do what he had to to live even if it was be a coward.
