Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Ieron liked to think himself a cunning wolf and perhaps he was. It was clear he had his own intentions for suddenly wanting to join Glorall. He could feel Rogue behind him, sense her confusion, and he held the sly grin that threatened to emerge. Maybe one day he would tell her is plan but it wouldn't be until he knew he could trust her. But, then again, Rogue was a wolf very much like Ieron. When could you really trust someone who only looked out for number one?

Never. Listening to Tesseract's introduction made the smaller male realized that things were done very differently in Moladion the in Calien. The alpha of the pack actually bowed his muzzle to a stranger. How very odd. He did not demand that Ieron bow or lay upon his back. Why? Had they been in his desert home, another wolf would have wasted no time in asserting his dominance. He made a mental note of this for future reference and waited until Tess had finished.

The glance at the black and russet wolfess did not go unnoticed but Ieron played dumb. He had his own plans and while his actions may be confusing to some, he knew what he was doing. All was going smoothly. The sly smile threatened to emerge again and was only just held back. It seemed that the white king had a lot of faith in his subject and it seemed Ieron was closer to putting his paw into the pack. But there was one final test. What had he done in his last pack? This time there was no hiding the smile. Ieron lifted his eyes, missing Tesseract's, and stared behind the white wolf so as not to tempt his anger.

"I was a thief in my last pack. I ran from clan to clan stealing food and dames. It was because of me that Calien grew to the strength it was. Then, I tried to steal my father's throne, but was ultimately defeated and banished." Telling the truth could be difficult but Ieron spoke with pride. There was no shame in his defeat only because he knew he was a great wolf. All his skills really had made Calien a large and prosperous pack. Perhaps he could do that for Glorall too. After all, he did have plans. Plans that were moving forward smoothly.
