News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

When a loner wolf is in pain, they are not always in the best of moods. And she was in no mood to chirk around with these two. Having to fend for herself all her life she was used to being alone. When she was attacked by her own kind or by a predator she had to manage and deal with her wounds by herself, unable to accept help from anyone or anything, even when Mother Nature was willing to end her suffering with Death. So, when a bunch of unknown wolves, that you kept alive, offers you aide she was willing to decline the offer. She was not aware that wolves could be kind and helpful to one another. Even though she was the one that attacked the mountain lion and kept it from harming the two in the first place, and really she only did it because she wanted to. Being near the two males was enough to set her on edge and with the adrenalin pumping in her veins, the feeling of fight and flight overwhelming her senses she was willing to take a snap at Ashido for getting close to her. Yet when she tried to bite at him the wound along her chest and shoulder would rip open slowly causing another flood of pain to force her to sit still. At that point she really had one choice to take in this moment. Instead of following her protocol she would have to try something new, something forbidden. Accepting his help, unwillingly, she allowed him to approach her, and she would get up slowly clenching her teeth as she leaned her right side into his wincing when she accepted his weight against hers. Her tattered ear was slammed tightly against her skull as she was fighting the desire to twist her head around and clamp down on his throat, unable to fully cope with accepting his help. Yet she was a survivor. She had to accept any means necessary to survive, so, if she had to tagalong with him to this…Diveen…then so be it. She would accept this help, for she truly did deserve such a thing, but as soon as she was somewhat better she would leave…never again wanting to see the two males ever again. Let the next mountain lion get them.

As they walked side by side her pace wouldn’t match his at all. Frustrated that she was showing weakness and incapable of matching his stride she would force herself to pick up the pace not caring in the slightest that this was making her injured body much worse for wear. Yet she did not care, not in this moment, because she just wanted to get this all over with. To walk beside another wolf, and use their weight was embarrassing enough as it was. Her face would duck in shame as the pain she was suffering began to blind her vision unable to think or focus straight. Yet the feel of his muscle and weight supporting her now slowly weakening frame, she was grateful, if for a moment, he wasn’t treating her like some injured lowly pup. He was not making fun of her pain. Yet her Pride was keeping her from being truly grateful for his assistance, he would receive no thanks from her, at least maybe not now. Yet for now, all he would hear from her was frustrated growls rumbling in the pit of her scarred and now slightly open chest, those sharp claws really did a number there. Yet he would also hear the sharp soft cries if she slammed her right leg hard into a faulty piece of dirt, and feel her ebony body spaz from the pain as a shockwave of pain trembled through her agile, but battered, form. Dark sapphire eyes would close for a few moments, as she held her breath, stepping with him attempting to mask the majority of pain she was feeling. The scent of this pack only grew as they crossed the boundaries and for a moment she froze in place feeling his body slip from under her as he pressed on. Turning her head back and forth she could feel her hackles rise at the impending threat she was feeling, a loner wasn’t supposed to go over marked lands. Unaware of pack customs she stood in place not wanting to continue, she was ready to take a step back and fend for herself in the wild. Yet that small voice inside her head told her to press on, because if she didn’t get the treatment she needed now she would be as good as dead and tasty meal, for perhaps, another mountain lion.

Getting over her nerves she quickly walked and leaned her ebony battered frame against his as she allowed him to continue to lead them to wherever the hell they were going. Giving him a cold glare when they were reaching a den she could feel her ebony fur bristle at this feeling that she would be trapped, already a wounded animal, she was not happy about this certain change of events at all. Yet the scent of another one, a female deeply wounded caught her attention and she noticed that there were fresh blood splattered on the ground. Slightly curious, but wholly on guard she tentatively continued allowing Ashido to take them where they needed to go. Now on the doorstep of the den she promptly sat herself down unwilling to go inside then den already on high alert that this wasn’t a safe position to be in. It was quite difficult to make out just what she looked like with her ebony coat heavily coated with her own blood and the stench of crimson from the mountain lion. The right side of her grey v-shaped chest was stained with crimson, a wide open wound seen from her shoulder, to her chest, down her leg. The left side of her face had three old pink scar marks in the same of claws that raked from the top of her light grey diamond patched mark over her eye, trailing down to her muzzle, evidence that this was not from her current attack. Yet the right side of her face it was impossible to see anything through that thick matted crimson mess. It was clear that the mountain lion had destroyed her face, making it quite clear she could never be a good looker…even though she never was in the first place. Once healed however, and the blood cleaned up, her shredded face would have holes showing bits and pieces of bone. Tilting her head to the side, ignoring the feeling of her blood falling from her cheek down over her muzzle she noticed another fem lying down obvious in pain and in as much as a bad shape as she was. A grittily cold sound came from her, as her cold eyes shifted towards Ashido and Heyel, speaking in their similar tongue.

“Quod est ultimo fortunam experiri cervicem meam ad vitam ... liberabo duo lupi albus, ex parte altera, cum vestra leo est mons”

(“That is the last time I save your life…risking my neck for an old white wolf and a young white wolf…you are on your own when the next mountain lion comes.”)

Sitting there, starving, her battered form racked with pain, she couldn’t help, but feel the urge to lie down. Yet when her upper half attempted to lean forward she shook her head wincing from the pain of her right leg and chest, as a spasm of pain shot up on her left side, in the rib area feeling that wound tug and rip slightly open from her attempt to lie down like Isola. Keeping herself sitting upright, nervous to attempt to lie down again her tattered ear pointed towards Isola in a curious way. Although she was in a lot of pain and she wasn’t in the most friendliest moods seeing another injured had somehow made her slightly ease up, if only temporary. Craning her head in a puzzled manner, wincing from the pain in her right side of her face she let out a very soft cold murmur, speaking in an easier tongue not knowing the other understood what she had said before, sapphire eyes echoing a mixture of pain and subtle hint of empathy for the also injured wolf.

“Did you run into a mountain lion too?”

The Monster was not in her element. Being in a pack’s land, without permission, let alone accepting help from others, while being battered and greatly injured she wasn’t so sure how she was supposed to act. So, she was relying on quick instincts telling her to be somewhat compliant…for now.
