During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

It's true, we're all a little insane.

Kharress

An auburn brown fae trots through the forest, her captivating icy eyes scanning for any sign of movement. The moon's light shines on her flowing glossy coat but her large paws make no sound as she silently skirts this new territory. She is young, yes, but strong and wise beyond her years. She is fast and quick witted and uses her razor sharp tongue as she sees fit. Sarcasm shields her inner most cares and concerns, some even go as far as to say it is her first language. She knows the ways of this unforgiving world, and uses this knowledge to the best of her ability. She goes by the name of Kharress, one that would send shivers down the weak vertebrae of many in her old homeland. They were a clan of unbeatable and ingenious, yet loyal and effectively intimidating varg. Yes, they may have been the ideal pack for any other wolf, but Kha never felt welcome. Even though she was second in line for the throne, she knew goodbye meant a second chance at the life she never would have had if she stayed; so she fled. A year of self-abuse and solitary confinement lead her to Abendrot, a bad ass pack that she was certain could absolutely handle her 'fight to live, live to fight' attitude. But, as luck would have it, Abendrot proved too much for the love-struck lass. The ruthless king Kershov had demanded she kidnap her mate, who she had presumed dead, and bring him as prisoner to be tortured and held against his will.

That sobered her up rather quickly.

Kha fled yet another pack; not in fear of Kershov's waiting punishment, but rather in fear of leading the killers straight to her ex-lover again. Her betrayal was too much for him, and he left, but she still vowed to do all she could to keep him safe - from a distance of course. Despite what others say - others who think she's crazy, but really, aren't we all crazy? - Kha does have an undeniably successful sense of self-preservation. She's still around living, breathing, her heart beating.

Is that not proof enough?

Loyal, pushy, power-driven, and vengeful? Yes. Suicidal? No. Not particularly. She wasn't always like this, but life changes a person. What can you do? Nothing. That's right, nothing. Circumstances are out of her hands now, and in a last ditch, desperate attempt to bring back some normalcy and structure to her life Kha has scouted out all packs in the area in search of one to which she can cling. The other clans appeared ever powerful and large in number - all except this one. It piked her curiosity. What had happened to send this chunck of Blossom Forest into organized chaos? Maybe she could step in and lend a helping paw.

Yes, sure, that's what we'll call it.

Kharress was determined - whether she stayed or not - to do some snooping.

Once a spy, always a spy.

Whether or not it ended badly was entirely up to who ever was in charge. She could make his life easier, or make his life hell. Each were equally entertaining and fulfilling in various aspects. The choice was his, but losing such an irreplaceable ally would not be advised. If asked, many would say that getting on Kharr's bad side is not in your best interest.

Upon her arrival Kha rose her slim muzzle and let loose an eerie howl. Her song slid up the scales to a high pitch, one of apparent domination, and carried on the wind to the ears of the unsuspecting. As her melody faded out Kharr lowered her crimson haunches and awaited the approach of her soon-to-be new alpha male; the one she would swear to follow and protect for as long as she were to live.

Well, as long as he doesn't fuck it up.

She thought as her signature classy smirk slid into place, an icy chuckle rumbling in her chest. For she had already left two packs, but would only leave this new land if death wished it so.

Let's just hope that such a death isn't mine.
