Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

something somewhere out there keeps calling

SEEKING RAKUEN

His fucking head hurt. Badly. The duo-toned optics of the regal slowly opened up to the light of day. How annoying... he had just gotten to sleep not forty minutes ago and yet here he was, being bothered by the scent of a newcomer. For moments on end, Darcia pretended that they weren't there, and instead paid the demon beside him great interest. With half-open portals, the devil let his sight graze over the form of the white male who had been his brother and friend for as long as he could remember. And now... there was something else that he was, though the regal himself would rather pay visit to a newcomer than think about that sort of thing. Heat flushed his face and the ebon creature stood hastily, too much so that he stumbled around for a second before the head rush disappated and he was able to move freely without falling over himself. Luckily, the brujo had not stepped on Iason. Tor knows what the pale vampire would do if he was awoken in such a way. Fights early in the morning were not to be thought of, especially since the two had been out late. Darc exited the den and shook himself in the morning light, spitting on the ground before he took off in the direction of one of his only male soldier's scent. He picked his way carefully among the dense undergrowth that was just starting to grow back after a harsh winter had rid it of it's previously green pelt. Who was to come calling at his line so early?

It was a femme, that's who it was. Not that he was thinking vainly of himself, but Darcia wasn't too surprised. There were only a few packs that had eligable bachelors in them that were ripe for the picking as of late. And with word that two strong males now ruled Bright Moon after Tamlin's death... well... anything at all didn't really bring surprise to the dark he-beasts mind anymore. Apparently the woman had spoken words before Darcia had come within audible distance, for Summer himself was speaking now. He liked Summer. For some reason, the male had a feeling to him that Darcia couldn't shake. Or maybe that was just the monarch falling back into old habits-- after all, he and Iason had come from a territory where only males were allowed passage. Females were forbidden unless they were the maiden of a prestige. ...it is not up to me if you can stay, that will be for Darcia, the alpha to decide. There was a pause, and suddenly the brute let out a song that could only be calling for his King. The sound made the hessain want to kill himself right then and there. It wasn't Summer's fault that he couldn't sense that the one he was summoning was already close by... Darcia was still too far away to be seen or sensed, but the sound was shrill and it threw daggers into his already tender head. Fuck fuck fuck. Darcia should be arriving shortly. Like Hell he was. So what led you to this pack? This question was an interesting one, and the beast was interested in the answer to it-- so much so that he stopped his decreasing of distance between himself and the duo facing one another at the borders in order to listen to the answer. What he heard was not as pleasing as the inquiry.

Her name was Carmen. And she wanted to be in the pack. Two colored portals looked to the heavens for mercy. Why else would she be here? Even from yards away, Darcia could smell the stench of homelessness upon her. What brought me here? Well, that's a long story I'm not willing to tell. Her words were quick and crisp. Darcia shut his eyes and then continued on, breaking into visibility and stepping up alongside Summer. The two were almost equal in height, but (as was to be expected) Darcia held himself with a more fine air than his pack member did. However, his tassel did not raise to it's correct position, and was instead held low, that of a varg who held no rank. Why? The way he was raised, that's why. Like a cat, this wench was. Her plummage had wrapped itself around her cream hued walkers and her portals were downcast. Not that everyone didn't have secrets to tell, but this woman was definitely asking to be broken like an egg shell. It would appear that a long journey has commenced before your arrival, Carmen. I am glad that you were greeted by a gentleman such as Summer if this is the case. If you wish to join, as you have made clear, I will ask you of only one thing-- equal exchange. It does not have to be shared here, but if you would be so kind my dear, I would much like to hear of whatever ails you-- I may be an alpha, but I am just as mortal as you yourself are. If there is any way at all that I can put you at ease, then I will do my best to accomplish such. Welcome to Bright Moon, Carmen.

But this was not all that the regal was to say. Although he had only gotten a slight bit of sleep, Darcia was more interested in the being standing beside him. Summer. He had only seen the boy once before having sent him and Misty off to Cold Summers in order to perhaps form a friendship with the kalaks that ruled the area there. In fact, he was even more interested to hear a report from such as it would seem that the Alpha male's mate, and sister, was to be birthing pups soon. Before the shadow took off, he spoke in hushed tones to the male who had greeted the woman at the borders. I know that I have not been very active yet, Summer. But just as with Carmen, I would much like to speak with you as well. If Carmen had heard, so be it. The male was not trying to hide such trivial things. He just thought that perhaps business with others was only to be heard by those whom he had business with. And it wasn't even business. Nevertheless, the male could be taken two different ways as was custom with him. Darcia may be kind, but there was a cold chill to him that suggested at a darker side. Gentle and dangerous. After his words were transferred, he turned back and made his way into the woods once more, his skull pounding with lack of sleep.
