Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Baby; I'm too hot for you

It isn't everyday that another approaches me out of the blue. I wasn't vicious or anything but I was full of myself. I was good looking and I knew it. Why should I believe anything else? I was different and I was special. Well, I'd like to think that I was anyway. I had my sights set on no one in particular and yet; on everyone. There was one who seemed to be lurking in the shadows of the new morning though. I let my gaze sweep over the terrain with ease before an ear flicked. I could hear the creature and my nostrils told me that she's feminine. I wondered what had her interested in me and I hadn't a clue at all. I knew the season well enough and how could I miss it?

She is slinking around me; dancing on her toes even and I have to chuckle at the antics of the she-wolf. She's acting like a whelp and I am thoroughly amused. I'm not missing that she's in season though; not at all. I'm rather interested in this little fact of life actually. My eyes stay on her as she slinks around me and I smirk a little. "Well hello sweetheart. Name's Meltdown and you've been following me haven't you?" I smirked a little as I studied her and my eyes never did falter. There's something about this she-wolf and I haven't quite placed it yet. She was a pretty thing after all and why would I avoid a chance that might land me a little loving? I wouldn't; not for the world of me.

I am ever so curious of her reactions now. I haven't moved really from my spot by the riverside and am still settled on my own haunches. My nose has twisted around however so that my eyes might settle firmly on the snow and coal stained woman. What was she all about? She smelled of a pack and while I do not, this doesn't really worry me. She's here for something exact but I'll let her call it eh?
