Sinclair had always been a bit nervous about his relationship with Cersei, for she was a princess, and he was quite positive that Tesseract had expectations of a different sort for his daughter. Sinclair knew from being in the pack a while now that Tess was mates with his sister, and he supposed that his leader expected Cersei to choose from her brothers when she got older. However, her foxlike mischievousness and constant attacks on him kept drawing him close and closer to her. He super enjoyed the time he spent with Cersei, and found himself longing for her company a lot more and also finding that he desired closeness to her, as if he wanted to snuggle her with his mother did to him… Well, not quit the exact feeling, but close.
So, needless to say, Sinclair had been acutely aware of his leader watching them. Sin was guilty, sort of, though he had no idea of if his feels were illegal or not. No one had told him that he couldn’t feel close to Cersei, or any of the princesses for that matter. However, as the spar continued, Sin began forgetting that nervousness as he strove to win the spar. His eyes glowed in delight at the challenge of doing better than playing, or working to improve. He was thrilled when his attack succeeded, though he was significantly surprised to find Cersei pinned between his paws under him. He let a high pitched puppy growl vibrate in his throat when he felt her quick jaws clamp over his nose. They pinched, for they still had puppy sharpness to them, but it’s wasn’t really painful.
He stood his ground, but strained to lift his head away from her, not really because of his wisdom that Cersei couldn’t hold him from long in her position, but more just because he could. When she let go and drove after his paw, Sin’s first instinct was to lift it, but he knew what would happen if he did (he’d been in her position plenty of times to know why she’d go for his paw). Instead, he balanced himself on it and then he lowered his head to stick their noses together for no purpose really than to be maybe a bit obnoxious or perhaps because he just wanted to. His eyes were wide with victory and his tail lifted, his fluffy black tipped tail waving happily behind him.
