The black fae was only momentarily surprised when the white brute said he was Kalgalath’s son. Chenzii could see it despite their different colored pelt. She had only seen those startling blue eyes in Kalgalath and she was not surprised that he had passed down the unique feature to his offspring. The black femme's companion came to the same realization as she mumbled to herself before speaking more loudly, voice picking up to a chirp, “Kalgalath’s son...Yes. Your eyes – it makes perfect sense! Though I wasn’t aware he had an older son…I see that you’ve gotten his good looks too, how lucky.” Chenzii nodded in agreement, there was no doubting those eyes belonged to Kalgalath. The brute took a turn to speak, telling them of his parents, "My orb color is shared between my parents. My size and musculature is indeed from Kalgalath, but you are mistaken. My coat comes from my mother." Chenzii had never seen or heard of Kalgalath’s old lover and she wondered if the female would ever wander back into either of the brutes lives. The fae heard a giggle rise out of the ess next to her, and she raised a curious brow, seeing the white brute do the same before looking down at his paws, as she turned her head for a moment to look at the girl. Could she be flirting with Aidnreas? He was handsome, so maybe she was. Reagrdless, it was none of Chenzii’s business how Leila chose to interact with the brute.
Aindreas opened his maw to speak once more, "As for the relationship, it was not known to many, not even to he nor myself until fairly recently. My mother abandoned him before the birth of myself and my sibling and then proceeded to abandon me. The truth is finally know, though not widely." This was news to Chenzii, her yellow orbs widening in shock. Even though she was not yet a mother she could not imagine what would cause a mother to abandon a pup. She felt sadness envelope her imaging the emotions that that must have caused for the poor brute before her. She knew he was not looking for pity, he did not seem like that type at all, but it was a sad situation nonetheless. ”I’m sorry that that happened to you Aindreas. Noone should be put through that, though you seem to have turned out very well for yourself.” She smiled at the brute, hoping the words she spoke were not offensive to him. Perhaps her depression had caused her to be more absent than she thought. Hiding out in her make shift den for days at a time had not kept her up to date with the social undergoings of her pack, and she realized how she had failed in her duties as a pack member. She really wanted to keep her rank as Delta and continue to move up in the pack, and hiding away in her den wallowing in her sadness was not the way to go about this. Her and Chiron would have to show they still wanted to be active members of the pack. She would have to go and find her mate and discuss it with him after her meeting with Aindreas and Leila came to a close.
The brute greeted the two females politely bowing at them and Chenzii stifled a laugh. She appreciated the respect he held, but was not used to seeing such actions. Leila once again shocked her, smiling back at Aindreas as she did a small head dip into a bow herself. Now she definitely thought that Leila was trying to flirt with the male before them. Her maw opened again, honey lyrics speaking again to Aindreas, “So, what pack do you come from if you don’t mind me asking?” Chenzii was surprised to hear the white titan chuckle, thinking that the brute was the humorless and serious type. She stayed silent for now, waiting to see how he would answer Leila’s question. His vocals started at a whisper, as if he had not realized he had spoken the words out loud, “Isn’t that the question…” Chenzii perked her audettes up, curious as to where the conversation would go from here, cocking her head to listen intently, " My body currently belongs to Serris and his territory of Munashii Gekko. Whether it will is yet to be seen. Should my heart ever be resurrected from its death and depth of despair, it belongs to naught and no one. My loyalty is to my family, but has faded in its regard to Serris, and it may soon look for another master. Is my answer sufficient?" There was no emotion in his speech as he spoke to the two females and Chenzii could tell he must have gone through a lot in life to make him this way.
The brute spoke in strange vocals and Chenzii found it very interesting. She spoke up next, nodding her head in earnest to show his answer was indeed fine, ”Yes of course it is. As I’m sure you know you always have a home waiting for you hear if you ever choose to stay. We are a strong family here and always look after each other.” She had no idea what Aindreas intent on coming here was, whether it was to visit his father or just to explore, but there was also the possibility that he was looking for a new home and family. Chenzii had never felt more at home here, and she trusted each and every one of the lupines in her pack, and would die for any of them. Even though her brother continued to be a loner, her family was here, and she would stay here until the day she died.
