It has been irritating, with Eden now sneaking around to view Melek. It is strange behavior, not behavior that is typical of my brother. I have been considering moving away from Diveen for a while, and thus my growing white paws are weaving through the thick growth of trees on this early morning. I am not afraid to wandering among the world during the day, with my brilliant white coat shining in the gentle morning sunlight. I do not know what I look for on this day, with my violet eyes of orange searching for anything that seems to stick out.
I just simply know I cannot live in Diveen among the angels, with the likes of Heyel, with the eye of my Mother, with the morals of the Queen. I must go forth and do as my heart desires. I must be separate from them, to leave Eden behind for he is a hindrance now. Melek will come with me, for this I know. She will come and she will help me purify the weak, and explore the insides of those too far gone for help. I sniff the ground for signs of life among the fresh spring grasses. I smell the stench of pollen, the scents of insects and other small, worthless creatures. Creatures I have killed many times over, yet they appear seemingly in an endless wave. My teeth flare out of my lips for a moment, before continuing on towards the edge of the woods.
It is not so quiet on this morning. I can hear the sounds of birds in the trees, rattling away with their irritating songs. I wish to rip into their flesh and tear out their throats, throats which I think cause the sound itself. I stand atop a mossy root, one large that stick out among the litter of tree debris. I let my strong ghostly form stretch out, muscles rippling with intense growth as I look above at the tree tops. I am an impressive specimen, even for my age. I do not realize it now, at this time in my life, but I look more and more like Heyel with each moon that passes in the night. I am almost indistinguishable, and a wolf who knew him might very well get confused if it were not for the vibrant orange streaks in my violet eyes.
So here I stand, among the twisted treeline of the woodlands. Looking for a place to reside far from the likes of Diveen, far from Eden for my Melek and I. I must know what lurks along the way, what creatures inhabit this lands to determine its livability. Creatures begin to stir in the morning, this I know, and I plan to observe them - including any wolves who pass by...potential specimens for my curiosity.
