The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Deep hues of amber pierced through the evening's crisp air as the titan watched her, feeling the slightest hint of curiosity seeping into his veins. The melody that he allowed himself to be lured towards was one that he couldn't quite understand, being that it was sung in a language foreign to his own, though the sweet tone reluctantly died down. Growing more hushed until there was nothing left lingering in the thick air that surrounded him besides silence. He remained at his perch for only moments afterwards before he allowed his ebony frame to slip from the comfort within the trees, dropping down from the boulder that he had been placed upon as quietly as his large build would allow him, and once upon the earth, continuing to cross the grounds with light steps.

When he found that there remained a reasonable distance between him and the ess, he had come to a halt, moving slowly to position himself back upon his rear and shifting to drape his plume around his front appendages. He had managed this position with the crumbling of the withering leaves beneath his large paws to allow the ess an alert of his presence -- had it not been noted before.

The ebony titan remained silent, however, allowing only a polite nod towards the fae in the case that she had directed a glance towards him, despite the fact that she seemed attentive and perfectly content with whatever she had seemed to set her own gaze upon; the titan, out of politeness, had yet to look. Instead he remained in a still posture, waiting for perhaps the female to acknowledge him or his own dismissal.

OOC - I apologize for any rambling or errors. It was slightly rushed.
