Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Return to Lunar Children

How interesting, this girl, so unlike his own children. First and foremost, it was rare for his own children to play in such a manner and yet, not just that. As he approached, she made it quite known that she was constantly on alert - her stance spoke volumes of her, showing a self assurance seldom seen. He couldn't help but raise a brow in curiosity, even as she played into submission. In a way, the girl reminded him of Caligula - a wolf solely of body language and physical ques, the silence between the two barely ending even as she growls in question. That, he figured, is probably the best way to have her warm up to him: he will avoid language for some time, a skill he'd... never quite mastered.

He is inclined, to give her that first taste of victory as she pranced forward; he allowed the bone to slip from his teeth as she pulls back, a playful, bubbling growl building in his throat as he swats at her with a broad paw. He intends to merely bat her, slapping her lightly on her shoulder before he moved towards the bone once more, grasping it so firmly once more and pulling back. It is his height, truly, that makes the game so much easier for him - she will need to release it eventually, lest she dangle from the end like a leaf.

Once he had the bone once more, regardless as to how much effort he'd need to put into getting it, that's when he intended to start their new game. His tail waved behind him as he feigned forward, leaping and suddenly pulling back into a twirl before loping off. Should she follow, he would gradually increase his speed, darting and weaving around the trees that surrounded their clearing. The girl had proven herself strong but what of fast? If she wanted the bone so badly, she was going to need to catch him first.
