Blue eyes stood out against the darkness that surrounded him. Instead of following the worn paths that lead from area to area, Oni decided on taking the paths less traveled, thus he moved through the woods and underbrush, silently observing those around him. It had been months since his father had "banished" him, in his father's words, Oni needed to go out and find "himself" so that he could "better" himself for when he was to take over. Oni had other plans, rather than going back to continue the family legacy, Oni decided that he would create his own legacy, far away from the prying eyes of his father.
Nostrils flared as he sniffed the air, the scent of fresh blood filled his nostrils, instantly causing his mouth to water. Up until now, Oni had paid little attention to how hungry he was, but the scent of blood was too intoxicating for him to pass up. Lifting his head into the air higher than it originally was, he inhaled deeply, in attempt to get a location on where the scent was coming from. After a moment, he started moving deeper within the woods, eyes searching for the source. Finally after what felt like forever, he found the source of the scent, only to be disappointed by the fact that it was someone's else's. After a moment of consideration, Oni decided it would be best to head back and continue on his way.
While Oni was on his journey to "find" himself, he had came across a striking female named Ceal. At first she had been this annoying little thing, always following him around, pestering him about why he had done this and why he did that. After a few weeks of her following him like a lost little puppy dog she got the bright idea to bring him here, to meet her mother. At first Oni just looked at Ceal like she had finally lost her mind and brushed it off, going back to his business, but after her asking about it pretty much non-stop for days, Oni caved in and agreed to come to Moladion with her, but in all honesty, he just agreed to come here so he wouldn't have to hear her ask anymore.
So here Oni was, standing in some place Ceal called the fields, waiting for her to return from Spirane, just as she told him to do.
