Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

She doesn't even flinch when he snaps at her paw; instead, she grins. This is the most fun she has had ever. Here, with these two, she could be whoever she wanted to be. A tree-climber that chases squirrels across branches. A true Princess of Diveen. From here she might leave with a little more confidence in her steps, a little more radiance to her eyes. All from spending time with a Prince of Iromar and a motherless loner girl. What an odd trio they made. Nogitsune is a bundle of energy, zipping back and forth between the pair of females and crawling all over her paws. But not once in this entire time has he mentioned her deformed paw or even pointed out Aviias's. It was a blessing.

Aviias was so excited when Shiloh mentioned she was a princess. It dug under her skin and went straight to her head. She puffed up again with a brilliant smile. So this was what it felt like to be recognized as royalty. A lovely feeling indeed! "I've never met a loner before either," she murmurs.

The sad note in the loner's voice caught her attention and one ear pricked forward as she tilted her head curiously. She didn't have a set home? Well, Shiloh should have realized that. Loner didn't mean loner for nothing. No one would dare take her den at home - probably because most of them didn't even know she existed. "Rip them apart!" Shiloh barks, ears flattening. "No one will steal from me!" She snaps at the air in front of her in a showy display of teeth and false anger.

On Aviias speaks, now of her mother. Although Shiloh has not spent much time with Isola the idea of her mother dead and gone made her heart freeze for a moment. To be left alone. Completely alone. Now she almost wanted to invite the female back to Diveen. Before she can ponder through this change Nogitsune has asked to play the tree game. Shiloh practically freezes under their gazes. Play it cool!

Shaking out her fur Shiloh stands looking on them with a bored eye - all practice for her Princess routine, of course. "I don't want to play in the trees right now," she says. "Lets go swimming! And see who can catch the first fish!" Yes, that should distract them. She leaps over Nogitsune and straight into the water. Submerging herself she opens her eyes beneath the dank riverside to see fish scattering around her and snaps her teeth at them before pushing to the surface. It is a bit deep towards the middle of the river but in their area it is shallow near the shore so Nogitsune would be able to jump in as well. "Well come on!"
