I've got
desperate desires and unadmirable plans
Maradona watched him and considered his question heavily. She had no desire to disappoint her parents, and yet the idea of becoming closer with her pack members surely had some part of whatever it was that Tesseract wanted to mold her into. Cersei was convinced that one day she would be Queen. Maradona was not so easily swayed into that train of thought. In a way, they complimented each other the way that her parents complimented themselves. Caligula, the brooding ever-silent Queen, and Tesseract, the charismatic snake-tongued King. It was said they were cut from the same cloth, that they were a singular soul divided cruelly into two bodies. Maradona understood that from the way that they interacted with each other to be nothing but truth. Maradona and Cersei were quite the opposite creatures, but it did not mean that the dark princess had any sort of notion that she had lost all of her father's gilded tongue. She could be just as persuasive and commanding as Cersei when she chose to be.
She watched the way the winds billowed through the tops of the trees for a moment, and considered her offer. "Father did not offer an alternative sparring partner. However, how am I supposed to track a wolf that I have never met or smelt?" It was almost a rhetorical question, her considering the task at hand and working out the problem with the words that tumbled from her mouth. "I say we stalk her today. Keep ourselves hidden and then tomorrow, I will track her myself and spar with her. Besides, gaining any information on the enemy that you can is always beneficial to the upcoming fight, is it not?" And there was the impish grin that spoke nothing but volumes of trouble for those that encountered it. She was not malicious but her mind thought around corners and outside of boxes.
The navy blue eyes considered her pale, new friend for a moment before her tail began to sway back and forth. "Perhaps then we can spar? After all, I'm sure I'll need a warm up before I spar with this Viora creature." She laughs and begins to pick up the pace as she moves more inland. Surely, Viora would not be venturing out of the woods on a day like today. The winds were far too strong and the sun far too hot. Everyone would feel much more comfortable in the shades of the pines that littered their coastline. Or at least, Maradona would believe. She felt decisively happy about her decision to ask her sister's crush to help her out today. Besides, then she could secretly measure if he was truly good enough for her littermate.
