I had been humming with soothing low pitches while Filius and Mizuki were still in the web of there own minds. Some found it an eery sound, while others found it sad, but still comfort in it. It was rarely that I hummed and even rarer that I sung in front of others, but being in the caverns made me happy. Most dark, damp, cold places made me happy. Although my songs were broke off when Filius seemed to wake up in a painful panic and Mizuki soon after woke up. For a long moment after a depressing silence wrapped it's dark cloak over us. It was even depressing me, which is hard to do. How can I liven it up? My head shot up with an idea and I rolled onto my back. Ignoring how much I felt like an idiot. When on my back I started wiggling around and thrashing my legs in the air. Harsh snorts and heavy breaths broke through the silence, along with this foolish display my salmon and ebony cow spotted appendage dangled from my maw. Quickly I turned onto my stomach and walked over to Filius. Bowing down to his face with my rump high in the air. My usually cold gaze looked him in his nearly transparent chocolate orbs. A warmth that almost never existed was being shown to him and only him. Even if I looked like a fool his happiness came first. Rapidly my scarlet drizzled banner waved and I spoke in a feminine low voice. Soooo sire what are we going to do t oday? Huh, huh? What would you, mister Deum, like to do today? I wanted to bite my tongue for the non-formal way of addressing him, it was odd. Jumping up high in the air I ran over in Mizuki's direction. Directly jumping over her mid body while running outside the entrance and running back in. Oh, I feel like such an idiot! Kill me now! Before embarrassment set in I went back to his face and pawed his shoulder. My hind end back up in the air. If you don't tell me I'm going to tug your ear. Playfully I threatened and then I put my maw close to his ear. My voice barely audible, See I'll even look like an imbecile for you sire. then I quickly pulled away. Hopefully I did the playful actions right, I've only seen pups do this a few times, so I'm obviously new to this action. Either way if it brought even a smirk or huff from him it'd be worth it. I placed myself next to Mizuki, but still kept an inch or three away from her. Audible thuds broke through the cave as my tail hit the stony ground.
