At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

There is something utterly relaxing about the water. Her first visit had been to the Falls, a place filled with tranquil beauty as water drifted lightly across rocks and earth. Perhaps that is why she was here now, for water seemed to give the girl a small sense of hope. See, no matter what, nothing can destroy the water. Not even the most terrible of fires can kill the sweet liquid. Not even the dropping temperatures of the tundra can destroy the water, only morph it and change it but never once is it not its original self. This is why the girl drifts so easily to the water’s comforting arms for one day, she hopes to be just like it. Allow the world to change you but never truly change yourself, be true and yet strong for not all can break you. Perhaps it was a mindless dream, perhaps it was a pathetic desire. All in all, the girl would bask in this tranquility for as long as fate would allow her to.

‘You should try the water.’

Perhaps fate is also not kind. It is that very deep voice that breaks through her serenity like a tsunami. The girl is shocked, surprised and suddenly frightened beyond belief. Gracefully, she leaps from her relaxed position, slender pillars easily finding their footing underneath her as she darts to the side. Brightly lit hazels find the owner of those deep lyrics as she stills, calming her irrationally beating heart from exploding from her chest and ending her life right there. The damsel breathes deeply, attempting to relax her features as she scans the larger form before her. I cannot help but notice how strong she is in this, for although startled she can still manage to look as regal as ever. It is as if a crown sits upon her slender cranium except no crown was ever given. The girl shifts her weight, standing more relaxed now as she shifts her gaze to the water, his words finally being registered.

“I’m sorry, you startled me.” Her gentle tones carry her subtle accent within them along with a slight amount of fear still buried within her. Her beautiful palette masks it though, concealing that earlier jolt of panic that had coursed through her slender frame and chilled her to the bone. Now, her innocence filled hazels shift back to him, noting the minor wounds upon his pelt. If need be, she would run yet judging by his stance he meant her no harm. Then again, it could be a mere trap. Still, she was sure of her slight safety as of now. “Do you mean taste the water or get in?” Her smooth lyrics drift from her kissers as her gaze veers along his wet form. “I am guessing you mean get in? I would rather admire the view from a short distance than disrupt the beautiful ebb and flow.” She lowers her hind to the earth gently, shifting that sunlit gaze back to the water as if to admire it for a moment. It returns once more to him, as I watch the flower slowly start to blossom.
