Mkay, first a few shout outs.
The first shout-out is to Distant Fantasies, one of the largest and best roleplaying resources on the web. Guys, this place is awesome. You can follow them on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, or DeviantArt. Their DA account has tons of cool stock and other epic art resources for all you arty people to enjoy. On the main site you can read RPG reviews, RPG articles, writing/art/coding/cultural resources, and tons more. It’s also a great place to meet new RPers or find new people to write with. So go check it out, please xP
Second shout-out is to our old mothersite, Hoof Prince. Here’s a very brief run-down of our history with HP:
I was an RPer at Hoof Prince when I made Shaman, and due to time restrictions left Hoof Prince to run this place. Shenan, the then-owner, was extremely supportive and became my go-to for help and advice. Far from begrudging me as a lost member, she poured so much into helping me that I can honestly say Shaman wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for her. Several months after Shaman was opened, Shenan offered to share Hoof Prince’s domain space and we acquired our first domain, shamanrpg.net. A while later Shenan stepped down and turned ownership of HP over to Nicole, Piff and Kels. Shaman eventually got its own hosting and new .com domain, and the two sites experienced a period of separation. Sadly, Hoof Prince has since declined in activity and two of her owners, Nicole and Kels, have moved on to do other things. Recently, Shenan requested to take Hoof Prince back again, but received no response from Piff. Consequently, she has opened her own version of the game on a different domain. The original Hoof Prince site owned by Piff is hoofprince.com; the new site (which really is new, and has been adapted completely) owned by Shenan is hoofprincerpg.com.
During the original Hoof Prince’s long period of inactivity, we removed them as an affiliate, which is the norm. We have since received an affiliation request from the new Hoof Prince, which I was delighted to accept.
I’m sure you all feel the same way as me, insofar as wanting to stay out of the politics of the whole situation. However, Shenan has put a lot into Shaman from behind the scenes and is a very close personal friend, so I hope you’ll join me in supporting her new twist on this old, classic game. I encourage everyone to take a moment to check out the new Hoof Prince, with whom I hope we’ll be working very closely in the future. Hoof Prince and Shaman, at Shaman’s birth, were much closer than just sister sites – Shenan and I both hope to return to the closeness we once had.
Third shout-out, and a little late, but while I’m here doing them… hopefully you’re all aware that our very own Fennic has opened her own domestic canine RPG, Sanctuary. Sanctuary has a lot of features I know Shamanites will like, so if you have a spare minute and like dogs, you should definitely go and check it out. Edel, Merlin & I all play there, so if you have time to join, hit us up! Sanctuary is another RPG we hope to be working very closely with in the future.

Omniety is in judging stages. It takes a long time to judge because we always have so many people giving their input into the process, to keep it as far as possible. Hold tight!
We ARE working on v11 and I’m really sorry it’s so horrendously late. That’s mostly my fault. I’m trying, but I promise I’ll try harder.
I’m also considering (and need to speak to the other two and all of you about this) moving the Omniety date permanently to the summer or something. We’ve always held it in March because that’s our birthday, but it’s consistently a crappy date, especially for school people. If you have thoughts/suggestions on this hit me up. Finding a good date is always going to be a compromise situation, but hopefully we can find a better date than the one we currently have.
More stuff soon. Have some points while I juggle all the things I need to do. Make it +12 points to all active characters because I’m awkward like that.
