The demoness had felt the unrest that shook the mountain pack, heard the cries of battle then silence. Rogue had met with Tesseract to discuss matters on Spirane and their new leader Purge. Many times they heard the battle cries from Diveen and each time Diveen rang victorious. Their calls echoing across the lands as they declared their victory upon each challenger. Rogue had to say, for a bunch of Angels they seemed quite adept at fighting, or perhaps it was their challengers were simply very weak. Rogue had yet to go out and really collect information on the new alpha of Spirane, she had lost to the angels several times and she wished to gain more information, yet nothing had yet really surfaced. The female though had met with Tesseract on such matters regarding Purge and her rise in Spirane.
When she had met with her Alpha to tell him of her aspirations to be his second, his Hand, he had asked her opinion on what his pack should do in regards of Spirane. She had told him to sit on it and wait for them, for the chance of Purge being usurped were high seeing as Spirane had been held by the same family since before she had come to Moladion. That family likely was not going to let her rest any time soon. Rogue’s own den was located not to far from the border which the two young wolves of Spirane had stood at the borders. The demoness stood black nose twitching her her shadowy form began to glide across the land at a speed most could only ever dream of obtaining.
She had arrived after her Alpha his poise clearly dominant that he deserved with his title. Rogue stayed behind for a moment watching and listening to the bite-sized girl from Spirane and parasite. Was this the best Purge could send? Not even an adult but a couple of whelps? To her this was honestly a sign weakness of lack of numbers, but what came from the girls mouth caused one of Rogue’s crimson brows to lift. She strode forward on long legs, holding herself lower than that of Tesseract’s form but still higher than that of the little parasites this ‘Snowshoe’ had sent them. Clearly she jested? Did she not have any adults to accompany these children? No members stay for her reign? Rogue had been right to think that many of Spirane’s previous ruling family had scattered in the wind leaving the mountain sparse but this sparse? Why not at least do them the respect of coming herself if she had no adults to be with them?
”And who is to say that this Snowshoe will maintain the pack any longer than her predecessor, Purge?” The demoness spoke in her deep tones, casting her poisonous gaze to Tesseract before going back to the parasites. She would not judge her for having a lack of members to send them, but really Rogue had been correct in having Glorall wait to seek an alliance with Spirane and nothing at this moment told her that it would benefit them this time as well. Still she would not override Tesseract if he wished to do so, but she certainly would not advise it at this time. Tesseract had formed a pact with their leader Alcide because Alcide had gained his respect, what was to say that Snowshoe deserved the same? There was just so much that Rogue did not like, too many uncertainties with that pack. It was not good for her River pack home and she knew it.
