Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Antoinette hadn't been aware that she wasn't alone out in the forest today. The other wolf was silent, easily skirting around the crunchy leaves and making hardly a sound. Despite all the cautions she took to try and be attentive, she hadn't noticed the older male. And so his harsh whisper made her whirl around, mismatched eyes wide, Her cream colored ears fell flat against her head, and a snarl almost appeared on her face before she thought better of it. She was in no condition to be hostile to anyone... and aside from that, she noticed that the other was focused on prey. Perhaps if she was quiet... perhaps then he would share. Her stomach rumbled with the prospect of food, and freshly killed food at that. She stalked forward as quietly as she could, taking care not to step on any of the loud leaves that littered the forest floor. Antoinette took her place behind the male where he had pointed to, crouching down slightly as she watched him from behind.

The male dwarfed her, as many other wolves did. She watched him, wide-eyed, and nodded as he told her to watch. The little princess studied him as he moved towards the fawn, Antoinette tensed as he drew closer before leaping forwards, throwing his body and crushing the creature. Her ears flew forward as she admired the ease at which he had killed the fawn. He had made it seem so easy, so effortless. And he could just as easily crush her too, so she decided to make it a point to be extra respectful to him. And he had let her watch him hunt. Perhaps she had learned something from the way he stalked his prey, but she was nowhere near confident in her own abilities just yet.

She straightened up then as he turned towards her. The simple question reached her ears and her stomach rumbled once more, quite loud enough to even answer the question for her. "Yes, quite." Antoinette said in her lilting, delicate voice. She moved towards the male and the fawn, her pale, diminutive body seeming even frailer in comparison when she stood next to the other. The lithe maiden nosed the dead carcass, smelling the fresh, warm meat. It was tantalizing. The question had seemed like an invitation, but... she wasn't sure. She backed off a bit, looking up at the other. "May I?" she said quietly, looking up at the other male hopefully.
