Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She was not expecting much of her day just a little warmth from the snow and listening to the crashing shore. It was beautiful here. She had never expect to desire a pack life but her children where concern now. No, she didn’t doubt the fact her and Warlow could care for them like any other but still she couldn’t help be concerned as a first time mother. Endangering her children… their children it was a fate she couldn’t bare… it would be as though she is losing a piece of herself, a piece of Warlow… a piece of her very hear. Only now did it begin to sink in how Natu must have felt to lose her children. She wanted to find the woman of white and draw her close, tell her she now understood her pain… It was something of a sorrow that clung to the thought but she quickly forced it away. Warlow and she would be there and with all hope so would her dearest Natu.

Her ears perk as a shark bark startles her as a figure of white is quickly against her maw. She nuzzled her happily moving to stand and bring a paw around her friend. She didn’t want to let Natu go from her embrace but didn’t want to suffocate her so gently freed the woman but not without burring her muzzle into her coat once more ever so briefly. She was family… her family and she hated letting her go but knew Natu had her on life still it didn’t make missing her any easier.

She giggled slightly at her excited words. “I have missed you very much Natu! He was not too hard to sway… he seemed a bit anxious but I think with their arrival he will be a lot more relaxed. I hope. Glorall is a nice place; they where welcoming we have not met many but at the very least we decided it best for the children. Back to Warlow; he seems alright! Stressed perhaps but hopefully not overly so. He is such a great male I could never imagine a day without him in my life. He will be a great father.” She speaks excitedly and ever so lovingly almost longing for him to see her before she leaves again…

“Tell me, how are you?” She questioned with excitement looking over the lovely fem only to find a few scars. “Natu… what has happened?” she questioned a soft whine escaping her slightly parted maw as she examined her more closely she was growing concerned and rather angry. Had someone harmed her? No… it couldn’t be possible, she was a gentle wolfess she couldn’t have done anything to anyone… she hadn’t deserved any harm to come to her. She was happy to see she was healing well but it didn’t halt her concern.

She didn’t want to make the fem sorrowful so decided to change the topic to something more pleasant. “Natu… would you like to help me? With the pups I mean; I am rather new at this and would love the company and advice.” She asked softly a curiosity lingering in her eyes before continuing more on the subject. “Perhaps; you know, if you don’t mind, you can sit the pups some or even have a girl day and see how long Warlow can keep up with them?” at the thought a small laugh couldn’t help but escape her lips. No she never had intent to be mean and would certainly come to his side when he called. Still she couldn’t resist he cute factor of Warlow being overrun by puppies. Though Natu may not find it as exciting it would bring her some joy in watching how the pups would act.
