Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

*I know, not the best... blame the muse!*

She wondered lazily through her new home this winters day. She hadn’t met many of the pack in fact really none and that simply wouldn’t do. She could use this excuse to go search for Warlow, the poor thing. She couldn’t say she didn’t worry over him. Her family was her life now and though she longed to see her friends she was slightly disheartened they didn’t seem eager to be found. Perhaps one would think her love a weakness but still it was a silly thought. Warlow was her strength, her resolve,… everything she needed. Sill her friends where missed but what could she do? Perhaps spring will lead to a visit but for now making pack “friends” where priority. She didn’t have to be close with anyone but to live with them and know them was useful and perhaps someone would be worth a close friendship still… it was her home and she needed to know the wolves in it and perhaps part of her even wanted to.

She managed to find her way to the water’s edge looking over the lands magnificence; truly it was a lovely sight. She didn’t often find herself thinking over the scenery but still it allowed her a relaxing place to think. She wasn’t sure what to expect with meeting another but she decided she was ready to investigate it. A short howl escapes her welcoming someone to be of company it for a spell. She could only hope her first greeting would be an interesting and perhaps even a relaxing one, but time would tell what she was getting into… still she wouldn’t be fond of any foolishness. Just because she may seem a cuddly mother to be didn’t mean she would take any wolf in with open arms but she would be pleasant enough. Now, it was just a matter of finding company.
