Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

She waddled around the entrance of the den planning to have another lazy day. She was not sure what she would do today, maybe watch the ocean or something else; but she grew board of being so confined the last few days but she was aware she would have to deal with it because she would be stuck a while longer... at least until her pups wouldn’t need to be suckled. At the very least she had the company of Warlow but she hated to keep him from enjoying himself but he ever seemed to complain at least not to her. As the spring sun’s rays illuminated the land she couldn’t help but smile but the stirring in abdomen was growing and she was becoming restless. She wiggled around the back of the den where it narrowed and became smaller. She couldn’t help but desire this place by nature. She wanted her children away from the dangers of the world that lay just outside but was comforted by the fact her most beloved was always to be by her side. He was a comforter and protector… he was the most amazing creature that could exist and he was her own. The thought of him made the pain decrease and heart swelled with joy that no one could take from her.

Not long after the stirring began; the cramps and waves of pain began to roll through her body. She could only gaze to Warlow keeping silent to how she truly felt. She did not have issues with Warlow being with her but it made her more anxious and heart rate increased. She tried to shake this feeling moving back to his side and burring herself in his fur. “It won’t be long now…” She breathed trying concentrate on happier moments. She lifted herself after running her tongue the length of his head before moving from the den so she could pace. She gasps; taking in a sharp breath of air before crumpling to the ground beneath her in immense pain, she couldn’t help but whimper in complaint before trying to stand and return to the safety of her den. As pain rolls through she felt her body give into the pain. She looked over her side before pulling the pup between her paws. She cleaned her son looking him over to spot any defects whining softly through the pain before placing her child close to he could suckle. She was proud to have bore Warlow his first son who was a perfect representation of her beloved.

As she lay him down she winces in pain a sharp bark of pain and her face clearly overwhelmed with anxiety and stress. Her pain only seems to increase but she lay as still as she could as not to disturb her first born. It took much longer to give for her second child. She was nearly exhausted but gains a second wind when she laid eyes on her beautiful daughter. She was a perfect mixture of them both. She examined the girl cleaning her well before laying her beside her bother. She had a perfect family as she gazed to Warlow. She was continent until the waves of pain grew and began to consume her thoughts. She lowered her head to the earth panting more aggressively now. She wasn’t sure what to do or why she continued to hurt but she only wanted the pain to stop.

The waves made her want to cry out in pain, but she forced herself to suffer in soft whines and whimpers. After some time she felt her body give. She could hardly lift her head but managed to bring her pup into her arms. She cleaned her as diligently as she could manage. She resembled Natu with a definite dorsal of her own and Warlows coat coloration. She moved her pup between its siblings beginning to get dizzy. She smiled to love before closing her eyes in rest as the pain began to subside. She couldn’t be happier with her children… She only hopped she had pleased Warlow. She let the thoughts linger as she moved into a light daze of a sleep. Dreaming of the future her perfect family would have. They where her everything, and Warlow was her existence. She would never leave his side… She loved him forever always.

It was a comfort she knew, desired and yet despised. The closeness to her siblings in her ever shrinking word simply would not do. It seemed as though his world agreed; a pressure pushed against her small forum angering, frustrating her. She did not notice her siblings were no longer in his world and she was brought into this new world as well. She moved and wiggled about she was cold and wet quite frankly she wasn't happy about it. Much of this time was a blur as he felt her mother’s tongue and siblings once more at his side. She shrieked and whined squirming unpleased bur settled between the two.

The heartbeat of her mother was no longer as strong as it was and yet it could be felt. The sweet scent of what was known as the sea flooded her small nose along with the scents she would learn to be family. She didn’t know what any of them where and yet she liked them all but the scent of her mother and siblings where strong and demanded her attention. She needn’t fight for her food but she was eager for it. She would grow larger and bolder but for now she was small flesh and only desired the comforts of her family.

She felt his sibling’s movements cease and wondered why; had they left her again. As her stomach grew rounded and full a wave of exhaustion fell over her. She did not like this sensation and yet it felt right so she gave in to the sweet bliss of sleep. Soon she would be bigger and bolder bur for now she will dream of most pleasant things.
