Lexi ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Perking my ears forward I caught the flicker of emotion in him and a smile caressed my lips. A light laugh escaped my lungs as he turned to the rodent for comfort and my banner wagged. Could also be because my mother was a murderous animal before settling down and having another set of children after failing with the first two. I said it as if it was normal and without any hesitation whatsoever. With a yawn I went over to the river and waited on the bank. For moments I stayed silent, until, a glint of silver caught in my line of vision. Then in the blink of an eye my head shot into the water, when I came back out a trout was caught in my jaws. Trotting over to the male I laid it in front of him and pushed it closer to his paws with my muzzle. Trust me Abendrot and its members don't scare me in the slightest. Tilting my head in thought I gave a better explanation why. Because in the end we are all the same. Even the most civilized wolves are ravenous and cruel; and the most cruel or blood thirsty can show compassion and understanding. Just got to give them a chance to show it. Trotting back to the waters edge I went and caught another fish. Laying in the mud like sand and started skinning it since I didn't like certain parts.
