Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Am I A Blessing or A Curse

She wouldn’t make excuses for her laziness. Since the birth of her children she felt little initiative to do much. She often slept and cared for her children and occasionally stole a few moments with her beloved. She had been feed well but still she continued to shrink in size. She was not happy about this fact but didn’t want to worry Warlow. Still, he often brought as much food as he could back to their family and she worried for him. She hated being at home and not by his side. It was a thing most painful far worse than bringing her children into the world for her soul desperately clung to his on for existence, purpose, strength, and so much more. No words could ever describe how their bond or how much he meant to her. She simply knew she was blessed.

Today it seemed the pups where out likely with her Beloved. He was a great father even if he may not see, it she did. It was a surprise to see her son strolling in from out of the blue. She inwardly worried but remained calm outwardly. She never knew how difficult and stressful raising pups could be. “You are not with your father.” Yes, it was a statement but with a hint of questing in her tone. She wanted to know why he was off on his own but as he tossed a Viol at her paws she eyes him with curiosity. She is impressed but still frustrated she didn’t know where he was even so… she wouldn’t refuse a gift and will find out why he was not with his father.

As she watched her son start cleaning himself he moved her Viol and picked her son up to place him securely between her paws. Her soft, warm tongue runs the length of his body before rolling him to his back and licking his tiny chest and belly. She covered ever inch of her son’s plush coat leaving no trace of dirt on him that she could tell. Her son was a soft creature. He was small and warm and this she adored. It was more than that though, it was her son. He mirrored Warlow so well and he had eyes that reminded her of Natu. She couldn’t help want what’s best for her only son. She adored her daughters as well. For that there was no question but still he was her first born. She loosed her grip bringing her sons catch back before her.

“It is a lovely gift son.” She said as she began to make way into its soft flesh but not after observing it. She saw the most bloodshed from the small creature’s neck and assumed the neck was broken. “Tell me son, what do you know of hunting?” It was a broad question but she intended for it to be. She wanted to know where he was learning this skill, which wolf if any he was learning from, and she wanted to know of all the techniques he knew. Yes, she was proud of Levi but didn’t find pleasure in the fact he could get hurt. May the soul who dares touches her family find no peace. Her family was never to be harmed for this she wouldn’t stand. As she finishes her meal and cleans her maw she pulls her son close laying her muzzle on her paws. “Tell me about your day. Just as well, thank you.”
