Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

By the gods he was a scappy, ugly little scruff wasn’t he? She thought a grin on her maw as she observed the tri-colored male. He was so funny thinking he was tough; it was cute in some weird way like watching a raccoon challenge one of those skinny coyotes. It was just cute to see them try. His little swagger his lazy way of speaking was sort of something she could do without but patch jobs were always fun and there were things she certainly could shape up into something fun. There was a lot that she certainly could see use in him. IF he chose to stay and so far she was gathering he much rather be elsewhere. Was her company not good enough for him? Damn ungrateful, little piss ant. That attitude though! How fun it was! He even gave her such an appropriate nickname!

”Bitch is fine, I certainly have been called worse. But you can call me Rogue if you want. Do you have a preferred calling, my little piss ant?” She could play the name calling game just as well as he could. And boy would she enjoy it. Whether he gave his name or not was up to him, he could be a rude jerk not wishing to be treated to the hospitality of the sea and be treated to the isolation of the island instead or he could learn to like it here. There weren’t a lot of choices in her mind.

”Ever have sea fish? Or seal? Both are quite delicious I assure you. Strange creatures those seals, never seen one in my life until I came here.” She was sure he didn’t give a damn, and she didn’t either if he didn’t. She was going to force conversation and teach him about Glorall he like it or not and show what food sources and lovely natives they had and what they could offer him. It wasn’t like she went and took him without reason. She had reason and loners needed homes, loners generally liked the prospect of not worrying about the food they were going to eat and having to worry about those nasty bears and cougars eating at them in their sleep.

”Tell me, how is your life?” She posed to him her tail giving a flick a rye smile still set on her maw. Such a cute little bugger.
