Silent people have the loudest minds.
When the young stallion greeted me with an open friendliness I gave a bright smile in return. Ears tilting forward as he spoke of the Skylar lady and Lyden. Braylen, ah the boy from when I had first arrived. I remember now, he was by water at the time also. A quieted laugh broke my silence as I thought how oblivious I was. When he reached out his muzzle my head darted back from the sudden closeness, but as soon as I realized what he was doing I exchanged breathes. Noticing his very light smile as we went back to our spaces.
Throwing my head up in entusiasm a few times I spoke after it became settled. Yes, I remember now. Nice seeing you again Braylen. Looking around trying to find something to say I flicked hair from my face. So, you like water places huh? It wasn't really a long term subject, but at least it broke the silence.
