IT'S OKAY FOR YOU TO HATE ME

At night Lyden could hear his family talking amongst themselves discussing why Caeisus was worth trading three mares for. It usually was followed by comments about what Lyden was thinking and he wondered to himself if they were going to cast the pearlino princess out of the herd just because of circumstances. Lyden watched Cae closely for a while and he always would, just like any girl that came into his home. Lyden honestly didn’t care if the girls gossiped about the newest buzz of the trade but what he did care about was none of them as of yet questioned him themselves, nor did they say a word about how Skylar came and then got stolen away as though that was any less tragic to the herd. He wondered if perhaps he felt far to personal about it because he didn’t lose just a mare, he lost his girls also

Snorting with frustration Lyden moved away from the herd in the midst of the day figuring if he walked he wouldn’t snap at anyone. Quicksilver came back thankfully with their beautiful daughter and in truth she couldn’t have come at a better time. timing Lyden has learned usually meant everything in different stages of someone’s life and right now the forest needed positivity. He did not deal well with tension which is why he found himself moving directly to the dirt path that followed along the forest where by going right you’d instantly hit the shoreline. His muscles felt pent up and it forced the pale brute to move at an easy rack like gait disappearing from where the herd had been

Thoughts of Aureila came to his mind wondering how she was fairing in the forest. He had seen her having polite conversation with a couple of the girls already but he hadn’t had the chance to check on her since. He meant to remedy that and thought of doing it now considering he didn’t seen her with the rest but as he shifting and went up a slight incline that lead into another meadow that also lead into the borders of the prairie his bright sapphire occules ran over the dark silhouette of Azazel resting in the grass

Slowing to a pausing his fuzzy auditives went forward with curiosity as to why she was alone for the black mare quickly bonded with gandy. This was most of the reason why Lyden did not allow her to go to soljor other then he hadn’t gotten to know her yet but he found himself very fond of her and didn’t want to be robbed of the chance of really having a connection with her because of someone else

Nickering to her as he got closer Lyden lifted his apogee to look around making sure nothing would attack if they both were to rest. Nothing seemed to be there aside from each-other, birds and flowers. With that Lyden buckled his legs beneath him and laid at an angle in front of Azazel so he could look at her head on without having to strain ”hey azazel how come you’re out here all alone? I usually see you within the protection of the herd i hope everything’s alright”
