Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

THE HERE AND NOWALPHA OF GLORALL

It is hardly long really, before the white Alpha of Glorall is given to make his approach, a polite dip of his head offered in turn, such is the dictated custom, dark eyes held momentarily against the male he had assured Daenerys led with an equable temperament, that such a leader would surely offer a useful alliance on both terms. He is prompt and indeed this alone is a pleasing thing to the gleaming golden boy as his ears are given to prick forward in curiosity at the words the male offers, one eye lifting slightly perhaps at his choice of…wording, Pan entirely assured such a sentence could be reconstructed to have a far more effective meaning. As it is and wisely perhaps, he is given to remain silent on the matter, at least for now, determined to retain a distinctly business-like air and not allow himself to become distracted with other matters better left to Glorall’s own advisor. Once Tesseract is given to finish his sentence Pan simply moves to speak his own with the practised eased in which the orator has always managed.

“She still recovers from here injuries, fortunately we are given to have the skills of a very exceptional healer and in time she will be fit to travel once more. For now however I have simply come in her stead to offer to Glorall the mountains friendship and support. Daenarys would like to call the ocean her ally and as such has sent me to negotiate the terms of such a thing with you, should you find it acceptable?”

Pan is a man of business, determined and matter-of-fact in all he does. The time of an Alpha is precious, as is his own and he desires to keep Tessract from his work no longer then he must be given too, seeking himself to return home and to the lessons his own children are sure to need by the end of the day. Niviaq would have them play endlessly. Pan however, is assured a more structured manner of education is required. Strange black eyes return now to the white Alpha.

“Spirane wishes to offer you a traditional alliance by which our borders are open to your wolves should they seek shelter and yours to ours in turn, we also wish to invite the best of your scouts and warriors to assist in the training of ours and perhaps offer an exchange of information between our healers and your own in return. I do however, wish to bring forth the matter of the defeated Purge in these moments.”

The manner of the alliances is straight-forward, traditional, easy as it has always been and yet the manner of the tail-less white fallen Queen brings forth another manner the golden boy seeks to address, a clause of sorts for the peace of mind of the Alpha and those whom would offer her their alliance.

“The desire of Purge for leadership simply cannot be denied. She has been defeated twice in her pursuit for Diveen and twice now in her pursuit for Spirane, the results indicate she may try now for another pack, Taviora and Glorall her most likely targets, yet she may well seek to attain a revenge of sorts upon the mountain. There have been rumours of a sort. I am told, that she seeks to befriend other loners to her and her companion and the potential for threat is thusly given to exist should she befriend enough. As such I would like to see how willing Glorall may be to partner further with Spirane, to develop a War Treaty, if you will, that Spirane will come to the defence of Glorall and add our warriors to yours and yours to ours in times of war- though I hope it should never come.”

Perhaps Purge would return for Spirane, yet if the rumours were true enough there is reason enough to believe she may seek Glorall or Taviora now and that she may well seek to bring others with her. If the Glorall Alpha should with for merely a traditional friendship then so be it, yet Pan is content now, to offer Glorall and his own mountain home further protection should it be needed.
